Avoidance wordage?

Could someone in-game please give me an exact quote of the explanation of Avoidance in the Persona screen? I'm in a - ah, hum - <i>debate</i> <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> with Aonein about the Avoidance number and he brought up a valid point - no dev has ever said that the Avoidance % is relative to a <i>non-Heroic</i> mob your level, which is what I thought. The Live Update notes only state that it's relative to an "average" mob of your level, but "average" could mean Heroic-one-arrow for all I know. Does the Avoidance description in-game say anything different?
