I wonder if there is a plan to ever SHOW the % increase on the person we are buffing with this line. Effects at App4 are: Increase caster's Deflection by 3 Increase caster's Tranquility by 10 Increase Target's Avoidance by 37% The first two can be seen, the third cannot. Inspecting the buffed player shows no change in their Avoidance percentage. I always have my doubts if a spell is actually DOING anything when there's no shown effect...

Watch your combat log, it's doing something. What you will see are lines like: An Ew Tae Hunter swings at Joe but YOU parry! They happen often enough that I can definitely say that it helps. That hit you parried could have been an 800 point hit, even if you only block 3 of those in a fight you could save the healer a several heals.

Guys please humor me with a question but first I will give a brief explanation before I ask so that I am clear. I am what you would call a 50/50 Monk 50% of the time I am the MT and 50% of the time I am the ST. I use transcendent blessing a lot and I see the battle logs showing that I have blocked the attack for the intended target.

With that said, have you guys noticed that this only works when you are right next to the target (person you are buffing) and not in the traditional DPS stance behind the mob? The reason I asked this is that naturally it would make sense that you could only block an attack that you see coming but is Transcendent Blessing a 360-degree or a 45-degree thing.

Message Edited by kerra on 04-01-2005 12:59 PM

increase targets avoidance = the hit is deflected to you, and you always deflect it. it doesnt actually modify there "Avoidance" stat.
