At first glance I would say pass on it.. except it does show an increase in hate generation.. and we all know how "accurate" the descriptions of the spells can be. If you got the extra 3pp I'd say go for it. The hate generation is always a plus and it doesn't take that much more power. Who knows the actual amount of hate increase could be much more than the description leads on to. From your own words "I always take taunts.. whenever there is a taunt as a training I always take the taunt". The is our weakness anything that we can do to make up for it we should... buy it. <P>IC is our best taunt and with Sony continuing to push us more towards the tank role, I think this is easily money well spent. However, it does come down to money. If 3.5p is your entire savings, you may want to pass and try to harvest a ruby for an Adept 3 version.</P> <P>I can tell you though that if it were me, I would buy that immediately for 3.5p and not think twice about it. Great upgrade, IMO.</P>

<DIV>I would probably upgrade it as well. It's a lot of money for a small upgrade, but if it means you can hold agro better, then it seems worth it. On a side note, what is with the extra affect: Decreases Damage per Second of Target by 0%. This has bothered me. Is it an error in the description, or is it really just a non-operational debuff? I think Focus Energy has the same error in its description.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Another one that is like that is Tranquil Blessing. It suggests that it increases hate generation by 0%. What the heck does that mean? I think we need to compile a list of the skills whose descriptions are wrong or whose descriptions suggest that the skill is broken.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This particular one (Infuriating Calm) annoys me since I have a feeling that it could be part of the reason we have trouble in higher level raid content, and even just named mobs in general; our damage debuffs do nothing.</DIV>

Yeah I know I was reading that and thinking the same things.

<P>100% yes yes yes. @ 50 your goal should be to get the skills you actually use to their max level. Equipment will tend to change or get better, but the skills @ 50 I doubt will move around that much for at least 6 mos.</P>

<P>And then he loots a Master 3 Infuriating calm on his next raid. DOH!</P> <P>Heh, just kidding. I know what you mean. I am all about getting the best things I can as well.</P>

<P>I dunno. Adept 1 is 10.24 hate/power. Master 1 is 10.46. The effectiveness increases by 8%. That's not really much of an upgrade for 3.5p.</P> <P>Then again, if you've got money to burn, you might as well. I would look at it as a gamble that they'll improve Fighter masters later. But 3.5p is a lot for a tiny increase.</P>
No. But if you're going to buy it anyway, be patient and look around. Heck, maybe even send the guy a tell asking to negotiate? <div></div>
I say buy it before Sony decides to fix our broken spells and the price goes outrageous. <div></div>
I would say hell no and try to negotiate with the seller. I would spend <DIV>a lot for it but not 3.5 PP, not for that small of a difference. It all depends how much you have in the bank too.</DIV>

Hardly worth it IMO. 3.5 plat is far too much for any master 1 skills. Try 50-80g is much more reasnoable considering how minimal all upgrades are from Adept 1/3 -> Master 1. <div></div>

I see how you got your 10.24 and 10.46, but not how that works out to be 8% - I get 2%. But, regardless, it all comes down to is 2% worth 3.5p? Can 3.5p be spent better elsewhere? I would certainly negotiate with the seller. I find that most times, you can get 25% off - but that's harder if he has the only one available.

You are correct that it is only a 2% improvement in efficiency. They're both true because the master uses more power.</span><div></div>
