Is it OK to be happy with your Monk yet?

Not at all. Ive enjoyed my class since I made him. If you're NOT enjoying him, then you should reroll or quit. Some questions for you; What is "studied nonchalance"? What level mobs are you killing and what zone is it in? How well equipped are you? <div></div>

<P>Studied nonchalance means posing around trying to look cool. The multiple deaths don't help on the looking cool front though...</P> <P>I'm in EL currently and my equipment is good but not excessive and with adept1s on everything.</P>

I have fun playing my monk she's like 47. Then again I'm a bit of an airhead. I made her to play with a friend's mystic who wanted me to play a fighter class. I come here to like see how I should be playing her, but I think that has like made me more confused than enlightened. Soo, I'll just keep logging in and having fun be it tanking or being a dps slot filler. Just have fun~ :smileywink:

<P>It's true. Why would I make it up? The mobs in question were Seamist wardens in EL. And I did add that I died more than I would have liked. It wasn't <EM>easy</EM> but it was do-able.</P> <P>And almost 2% xp a kill is scrummy...</P>

I'm very pleased with my 50 monk.  His name is Painfury on Toxxulia server, check him out on eq2players or something to see equipment.  I've had fun all the way through and I think Sony did a much better job this time around with monks.  I can tank in most places, but I'm not sure I would even try it on a raid mob x3 and up.  I can solo four greens at a time, but even at 50 I wouldn't dare jump a blue ^^ by myself.  I still get hit hard, but not often.
