Weapon Help for New Monk

As I approach lvl 20 and the monk subclass, I find that I'm completely confused on weapon choice.  Since I chose my brawler subclass, I've exclusively used my fists (without any hand wraps).  However, I've seen various posts and discussions regarding hand wraps as well as dual wielding and 2h weapons.  Should I be using some form of weapon (or weapons) and, if so, what?  Further, do my hand-to-hand skills such as power strike or rapid swings work when a weapon is equipped? <div></div>

<P>Yes, always use a weapon <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  All of your combat arts will still work. </P> <P>What you use is up to you, though most prefer dual wield for the stat bonuses.</P>
