Hi , just wondering , as a monk ( i am 21 currently) do i want good Agi and good ac, or do i just want great agi, even at the expense of ac? Should i sacrifce 50pts of ac for +3 points agi by using v light armor as opposed to just light armor.

And does agi help with magic and other effects..

Message Edited by Garm Trelios on 03-21-2005 10:30 AM

From what I have saw tanking group ^^ monsters 4-5 levels below me and from when tanking ^^ that are 1-5 levels over me(in a group), agility wins out. Having your agility high helps more and breaking 200 is very good. You should shoot for a 150 agility unbuffed. Using stone stance and having over 9k in AC I still get hit. When lvl 44 I was tanking lvl 49^^ monsters in EF/PF and getting hit for around 1300+ dmg like it was nothing, talk about scary As you level it seems to scale the dmg and how often you are hit. It's my belief that it goes like this... 1) defense 2) agility over 200 3) AC 4) deflection does not work and even a group ^^ your level can chew you up. (you get hit alot and you take alot damage)

Also keep in mind that agility adds a little AC, but remember that light armor always offers better mitigation than very light.
Message Edited by Gage-Mikel on 03-21-2005 11:11 AM
