Shammy and Bard: Kings of the Buff

Just had an insane group in Runnyeye. A lot of you already know how great bards are. I didn't realize how amazing they are until tonight. My group was comprised of 34 Guardian, 34 Shaman, 30 Shaman, 33 Conjurer, 30 Troubadour, and 33 Monk (me). We tore through everything in sight, including level 41 gobs, level 39 named gob, and anything else we could find. Earlier that day I had groupped with a 36 guard/34 Shammy/33 Temp + DPS group and we weren't nearly as good despite a much higher average level. There was one reason for that difference in groups, the bard. The bard, only level 30, was huge. Coupled with a shaman the buffs were tremendous. Here's the <A HREF="http://tjd.therealbmd.com/eq2/stats.jpg" target=_blank>screen</A> of my stats. I could barely make a dent in my power bar and was hitting everything for tons of damage. The morale of the story? If you've got a bard and you've got a shaman, you're all set.

Yet bards are going through their own set of turmoils, crying nerf, just like everyone else. Though yes, I enjoy bards myself.
