<DIV>is it me, or does the term "bruisor" seem kind of stupid.  how is that the equivalent of a monk? just sounds kind of dumb to me.  i think maybe an evil monk might be a disciple, or something like that. not too sure, but there has to be something better than bruisor, just sounds like someone you'd find outside of a nightclub holding a clipboard and a rope.</DIV>

they got gimped alot and soe doesnt listen to their concerns, 26 bruiser is shelved, 13 monk is in progress, but from what I hear of green mobs wiping us out..ugh. At least I still have my knight, my favorite, he doesnt gallop along on his horse anymore but he's still great. I really hope I can enjoy my new monk, because I love the idea of the class.

<DIV>Bah, how could you bruise their ego? Bruiser are so much fun! I started a junior bruiser after grouping with one in RE. I love it!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I wont be giving up my monk due to some of the issues bruisers have atm, but.......bruiser animations are so flash! So much better than the Wu shu pork flavored animations we get.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Bruisers smile, spit blood in the enemies face, then land a vicious right cross to the point of the chin! </DIV>

<DIV>Yay a 5 second mez (never get an upgrade) and a fear component added to my AE taunt making it so I can't use AE taunts when indoors. The fear we get has been our bane in group encounters, and if anything, has been a "bad point" of our class. Enough with the uneducated flames, keep this on topic.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yeah, the name sounds a little goofy... but it's very fitting. It's not an "evil monk"... it's a martial artist that's more about straight up beatdowns rather than finesse and fancy footwork.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And yeah.. its Bruiser, not Bruisor. Bruis<EM>or</EM> sounds like the name of a bad Decepticon or something. :smileywink:</DIV>

<DIV>well look what i found lol=</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>yall are crazy(in a silly funny way) -- if you must know why they call us bruiser is because we are intended to use fist weapons first and foremost before all other classes - we get a like a +40 in fist skill w/ an ability- on top of that - most of our skills are "bodyguard" oriented - 1600AC boost to MT of grp w/ an intervene type skill (that ironically enough we cant use on ourself)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>bruisers complain about tanking ability- but we are much better suited for the roll of body guard saying as though when something gets on a caster we can fear the mob or mez it long enough for us to pull aggro and keep it busy till the MT can get things back under control. and even then when we get it under control our selves we can FD and let it run to MT then hop back up and start fighting again and we do uber damage from behind cause no riposte or attacks- high level bruisers have about 12 dmg attacks on seperate timers that all do 150+dmg - im not sure about monks but i know they are pretty close to us </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i spend most of my time controlling adds and saving caster [Removed for Content] so many now i cant even count = which is why i was an advocate for the dps and not the tanking ability- cause whats the point in fighting for something that long term we really dont want- and thats monks and bruisers being cookie cutter in ability w/ other tank types... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>dont want the game to be shafted in a tank is a tank and a healer is a healer mentality- will spread groups too thin and make grp formations- 1 tank 1  scout strictly for evac- 3 wiz and a healer... which would suck and exclude us totally - and create an unholy migration towards wizard classes...sucky</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
