<DIV>Shortly I will be turning 30 and I am getting fairly over qualifed for my staff. It seems that whenever I have time to go to a broaker there isnt much of any thing for me to buy that is player made.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is there  a place to buy a new weapon from an NPC at my age? I checked the armory in N Qeynos and found nothing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Level 30 monks, what do you use for a weapon? Where did you get it? </DIV>

<DIV>This dusty blue stone quest is a never ending.... was I right in sellecting the part that takes me back to stormhold?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Or would have i gotten the reqards above if I finished at the mage tower?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What I am working on now is no longer even called the Dusty Blue Stone... I hope I didnt waste the better part of a week on this all for not (had to raise my harvesting skills from newbie level).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Farming the EL boat might have been a better idea.</DIV>

If you know a lv 35+ weaponsmith (scribed adv weaponsmith vol 35 dropped book) AND a lv 32+ tailor (scribed adv tailor vol 32 dropped book), you could try to buy high quality pelts instead of a finished weapon on the market. Sometime people misprice rare pelts thinking it was just common sullied pelts. I scored a medium quality pelt once for around 75cp. Weaponsmith can make rare pelt into rare spiked cestus. (non-sullied) high quality pelt can be made into Engraved Spiked Cestus. I have not seen the stats for that but I have seen the stats for Cuirboilli Spiked Cestus (made from medium quality pelt) which is the best fist weapon I have seen in the 20'ish range.

After you killed those and return to the priest, you can get the weapon if you choose the option of not to continue the quest to get ghoulbane. The skeletons would be really easy for your level.

<DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>DOH...you are screwed then.  I've read rumors of the quest being re-startable, but you should have taken the loot and not gone for the Ghoulbane.  That is a pally only sword from EQ1</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>what is a Pally only sword?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What I missed out on... or what I am currently still working on?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It said "I don't even use a sword I will continue" or something like that... made sense at the time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>If you chose "I don't even use a sword", that was the right choice.  Then after that, it asked you if you were sure...if you confirmed that choice and said you were sure, then it would have given you a choice of several weapons...one of which would have been your baton.  It sounds like you made the choice to continue with the quest.  That quest will give you a Palladin only sword which you cannot use.  You will probably be able to sell it for a nice chunk of change, which isn't all bad, but in the mean time...you will need some other weapons.</DIV>

<DIV>I'm level 29 (1% from 30) and am using an Ebon Eye Mace and an Oakwood baton. Both are really nice weapons and I personally think both are better than Toranins Baton.</DIV>

<DIV>Yes you are right Goulbane is not only a pally weapon but the finished product most benifits the pally and IMO a waste of time for the other classes. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>BTW.. On the main subject of this forum..dusty blue stone reward sucks compared to having 2 of these bad boys <A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/item.vm?itemId=10468" target=_blank>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/item.vm?itemId=10468</A> if you like dual weild these will last you till lvl 34. </DIV> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P><p>Message Edited by kerra on <span class=date_text>01-12-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:11 AM</span>

<DIV>At 30, dual Ebon Eye Maces seem to be a pretty good match-up!</DIV>

<DIV>In other news I took all the rares from the harvesting the dusty blue stone requires and sold them for 5 gold yesterday and purchased a new (orange)  pristine Bo.</DIV>

Thanks, Gage./whistle +10 agi, eh? <i>Very</i> nice, particularly if you can get hold of two of them! I'm not even near the necessary level yet, but I'll remember those.
