what is with the DOOR to the monk trainer?

On Lucan DLere it is working for me. I know that when I was in Freeport, the door to the bank didn't always open for me, but after I clicked on it, I was able to walk through as if the animation had worked. Not sure if it is as simple as that for you.Before you ditch your character, make a different one and try the door. Might have something to so with your toon.Good Luck

It was bugged a while back, I assumed they fixed it. Maybe it broke again with the recent server issues.

What's worse is that one student of the master walks through the door. Unfortunately, there is nothing to be done. GMs tell you to wait for a patch (!!) and do not help by porting him outside/porting you inside or anything like that.Your best bet is to wait for a server restart and do the quest as soon as the server is back up. That's what I did after 3 days of being stuck in front of the door.

It worked for me on Antonia Bayle first try so i take it i was lucky a few weeks ago then...I can understand people are frustrated at this so would i be.

Check after server ups; sometimes it's a door, other times it's a wall.Good luck.
