<DIV>So I posted on the brawler forum asking about the appearance and cool factor of the moves of monks and bruisers as I approach decision time on my brawler. Since no one answered I thought I'd come to the source.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What do y'all think of the monk animations? Are the martial art style animations or no? More kung-fu oriented or more Karate/Taekwondo oriented like the brawler jump-spinning back kick on Thrust Kick, or more wild but neat like the animation for Kick with a staff?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Do you like your animations? Why or why not?</DIV>

<DIV>Thrust kick, flying kick, swooping dragon all have the same graphic unfortunately. Or if there's a difference, it's not much.</DIV> <DIV>Rapid Strike animation is too slow. The hits damage are all instantaneous, but the animation takes like 3 or 4 seconds to complete, which means you never see the end of it if you're fighting furiously.</DIV> <DIV>I guess that's my only complaints, purely from a cosmetic standpoint.</DIV>

<DIV>The bare-fisted or fist wrap fighting style looks phenomenal. However, there don't seem to be any good wraps to equip and bare-fisted definitely does less dps than your bo or dual wield batons, etc. It's too bad, really. Seems a waste of good-looking animation.</DIV>
