<DIV>The splintering quarterstaff drops off a named that's something like Battle Maiden Alexandra, or Battle Priest Alexandra.  From the atrium (coming from spiral stairs), take a left, go down the stairs, take a right at the pool of water, go up the stairs and take your first right.  She spawns in that room.</DIV>

<DIV>I think this item dropped last night for our group.  They gave it to me.  If its the same item listed as i can't find specific stats on it, then i believe it is duel wield capable.  Getting another one would certainly be sweet!!  Single handed though it brought down my Attack by 200 points from using the Monk Bo.  So its best if you had two of them or it and another quarterstaff of equal quality.  </DIV>

Check the broker guys.I have a pair of these which i paid 39 and 45 silver for. (runnyeye)the toon looks fabulous using these. never stops moving.looks like a combat windmill.Dream

<DIV>They are a fairly common drop off of the named. I was headed to SH to join a group my guildies were in and it turns out the staff dropped 10 mins before I got there. My guildie gave me that one and we hunted in SH a bit. The guy spawned 3 rounds later and dropped the staff again so now I wield two of em. If you're in a AQ3 group just ask to clear that room first, then go kill cavaliers, globs, boxes etc... then come back and kill the room again. It's an extra win win situation if someone in your group needs tormentors because those are the PH. This particular room has two spawns and has the potential for two named mobs (either that or tormentors). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The only crappy thing about these sticks is that they max out at level 23. No one really hunts in SH until they're about 20 anyways so these sticks aren't gonna last anyone too long. </DIV>

<DIV>The Splitpaw Staff Of Snarling comes from Black Burrow.   Keys sometimes drop from the mobs in there and you can use them to open chests that are in the room with the hoard watchers.  From these chests you get random items and one time I got that staff best weapon ive seen for my monk at 25 so far</DIV>
