<DIV>I know our class armor is the armor Gage shows off with the wrestling belt, and neck collar.  Personally I think it looks terrible.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is there a way we can get the look of the barechested jogging pants with wrist wraps?  I think that looks a lot better.</DIV>

<DIV>:smileysad: </DIV> <DIV>        I agree ..The noob monk set (and yes..were all very much noobs at this point in the game) looks really bad..lets hope that they can dig up whoever did the designwork on Velious armor textures back in eq1 ..and put them on the forefront of whatever team is involved in "The latter designs" regarding the monk wear. Quite frankly i havent seen anything in eq1 or eq2 that has put a smile on my face as much as those Velious Armor textures did..(of course pleasure was greatly reduced with the "need to edit your eq client before you can see the new armor" bs , but hopefully , if such wonderfull ideas are introduced into eq2, these issues will be resolved in a less technically demanding manner for the many players whom boast "little to no" computer savvy.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>   What i want to see is a black silk vest with golden dragons facing eachother across the front (and nonsense like that..just cause its what i want to see :smileyvery-happy<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />..im also waiting to behold "The duel wielding Brawl stick from eq1  graphic type weapon" monk in action..yes indeed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> /Arilious Maxximus ..21 monk of Unrest.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>  </DIV>

Maybe there is a lvl 45+ armor line of quests?Even though the armor has nice stats, I agree, it does look like crap. Mostly just the chest part. If they fixed the chest, then it wouldnt look bad at all (something like the EQ1 most chest? The leather straps and ring in the middle)Just my 2cpMalsar Greycloud

<DIV>I don't like it either, heh.  Especially in yellow.  Makato's black set looks ok though.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't think there is any "monk" specific armor after 20, all the lvl 50 monks I saw were wearing summoned light stuff, which looked similiar to black/red cordovan really.</DIV>

<DIV>..oh and yes velious armors rocked.  My favorite of them was the Teapot helm for dwarfs.  It was the best to see a dwarf running around with a big kettle on his head, with 2 bones tyed to the side and lopsided.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think that was the perfect piece of dwarf looking armor, b/c it just fit.</DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>I hope this is one of the threads that garners a MoorGuard response...</FONT> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>I too am quite disappointed in the graphics the lvl 20-24 monk quested armor has. Especially the male armor, the female is not as bad.(The stats are great though)  I was hoping, like many of you it seems, to get the white cloth look that the monks in the Qeynos Dojo have.  I think that that look, (and maybe other color combinations or themes of it...black, red, yellow, etc) is the look the majority of us want. I know that the first time I entered the Dojo, my jaw just dropped!  Yes, thats the look I want!  BTW, they did the Dojo itself right too.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>I just want to know if it is even possible later in the game...<STRONG>Devs,</STRONG> c<STRONG>an we get that same look the initiates have later on?</STRONG>  If so, I will walk around in my newbie green puke pirate outfit proudly until I can earn the white monk armor later in my career.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>Please guys, give us hope!</FONT></DIV></DIV>

<DIV>Is the male quest armor yellow also?  They should have made it black for males, or maybe even all white.  Imaging my Big Barb with tatoos and all running around in a yellow outfit just doesnt seem right for some reason.  I saw a lvl 24 Monk in a white robe which didnt look too bad, anyone know what that might have been? </DIV>

<DIV>I go around saying that I am a circus performer, because the male Monk armor honestly looks like something a circus strongman would wear, or maybe an acrobat, or trapeze artist.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If the chest was completely bare, then it would look decent.  I'd really like it is the color was changed to white, black, or somewhere in between, as well.  The green isn't even a GOOD type of green.  Green is my favorite color, but I absolutely despise yellow-green, which is what the armor is.  At least the females look forgivable.</DIV>

<DIV>Hi,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Finally finished the monk starter armour quest. And as a level 24 High Elf Monk in quest armour, I look like a refugee from some harem. This could have a plus side, we get bonus damage for making the mobs laugh during an encounter.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Regards,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Does the banana suit come in stages or does the graphic only change when you get the full set?  I can only imagine running around with brown leather stuff with yellow wrists and such.  I guess that would be incentive to complete it fast.</DIV>

<DIV>Heh, just completed my monk aq6 and got the armor and I must say it looks hideous on my barbarian. I suppose it would look much better if it was white or black, not [Removed for Content] yellow. I think I'll put my monk on a hold for a bit until I find something to replace it because it is darn embarrassing to run around wearing that thing. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>it's still early in game... i am SURE tailors will eventually get to make dye kits or some such thing for players to change the colors of their outfits with... otherwise everyone looks the same, which was one of the big pushers for this game in that it had a great customization features etc.. and now everyone looks the same under all that armor?   well anyways forgive the poor grammar please, it was late when i wrote this but i am figuring they will add dye kits in sooner or later (preferably sooner)</DIV>

<DIV>Of course you can't dye your armor like EQ1.  In case you haven't noticed yet, EQ2 is the game where you make several permanent decisions about your character that are likely to [Removed for Content] you in some way down the road.</DIV>

I hope it's the initiate's outfits they're working on. The sensei ones are OK, but I don't like that HUGE belt completely covering the abs. Hey, my toon worked hard to develop those pixels! <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
