<DIV>Ok, hit 24, nearly 25.  Been comparing the dps between the bo I got for my class quest and my fists.  Dps looks better unarmed.  Just not so sure about the delay on having no weapon.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What weapon should I use?</DIV>

<DIV>Well the sony reps that respond to the boards say use a weapon. My bet is that with your fists you have a delay of something like 3 and a damage around 15 to 30 where as with a bo for instance you have a damage of 12 - 30 and a delay of 1.7. I think weapons are the way to go I know it might look good to get those hi damage numbers but if you are only getting them half the time its not an improvement. </DIV>

<DIV>I agree with San.  Delay is the killer of DPS.  I believe he is correct with the delay of fists being around 3.  I personally like duel wield and the ebon quarterstaff fits the bill just nice atm.</DIV>

<DIV>I've been testing the staff vs fighting batons vs empty hand combat.  I base on same level of mobs and the amount of time to kill each mob.  So I'll kill 20 scarecrows with a bo, then batons, then unarmed combat.  Based on my tests for my level/ stats, etc.  The bo out damages all. This was done with a Maple bo, and maple fighting batons.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, I noticed the bo is better for tanking.  Because of riposte damage I nearly killed myself using the fighting batons.  My health went into the red with batons.   The bo staff never let my health drop below 70% at any given time.  I'm still testing.  60 Mobs is less then enough in my opinion, but it's a beginning.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
