Went hunting after server came back up this morning. When i FD and it is a sucess it breaks the encounter. Says something like you will no longer get xp for this encounter. When you fail you get no message. While i like getting a message this could suck if it breaks a grp encounter when a monk or brawler FD's.(Note this only works if you actually engaged the target.)<p>Message Edited by buggz620 on <span class=date_text>11-22-2004</span> <span class=time_text>08:37 AM</span>

<DIV>Just noting that you only get the message if:</DIV> <DIV>1) You engaged and "locked" the mob</DIV> <DIV>2) You successfully FD</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you are simply running by an aggro mob and you FD, you get no message.  You just need to "look" to see if the mob has ceased attacking.  </DIV>

<DIV>I used FD in a group the other day. We were hunting crows at the farm near Windstalker and our druid healer had just left. We were waiting for another healer who was running over to us. We're finally able to see him coming, so we figure we'll start in on one. It was me (a 19 brawler at the time), a 19 crusader, a predator and a wizard. Well, I end up tanking 2 crows. Without a healer yet, my health is going down at a good clip. I get into red, so I hit FD. They stopped hitting me and started on the crusader. I waited a few seconds then got up and resumed attacking. The encounter never broke. I can't say whether or not this is working as intended. I guess it's kind of like a solo Call for Help where it breaks the encounter, but only if it's just you fighting. I've only tried it once mind you, so I can't really speak from experience. Anyone else have a similar occurrence?</DIV>

FD doesn't break encounters anymore, at least it never has for me.

<DIV>A good way to tell if you have succesfully Feigned Death, is your Brawlers Stance, Tranuils Blessing, Intervene, or simply put, your concentration points will go away and all the self buffss plus other group memeber buffs u have cast on them that cost you concentration points will dissappear, once u ee them dissappear, dont move u are ok, works for me every time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Aonein Amillion 24th Monk<BR>Everfrost Server</DIV>
