<DIV>I felt something is wrong with the monk class... monk ain't suppose to be like that... so here's a few points i like to highlight.. feel free to add more.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1)In order to be a monk u have to have your head shaved, so sure u can create a char with hair but once u decided to be a monk your hair will be gone.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2)Monks are vegetarians.. so for food wise they cannot eat any meals with meat! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>3)Monks are not suppose to fall in love... no marrage is allow for monks in game, any monk found to held any wedding will be dealt with by the GM (probably a suspension for 1st offender and perm ban for repeated offences).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>4)Female char cannot be monk! They are called nun not monk.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>ok ideas</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. where did you get your information from? not all monks shave there heads, the sohei (warrior monks) of medievel japan alot of the time wore there hair in the traditional samurai shaven pate with top knot</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2. while this is true for most buddhist monks gameplay wise would be hard otherwise its a good idea kind of</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>3. another one i sort of agree with, but monks in fiction have fallen in love example crouching tiger hidden dragon (if they werent monks what were they)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>4. traditionally females were not allowed to be monks, that is correct. but nuns? thats the catholic church your thinking of bro. if female monks werent allowed that would tick off alot of folks tho.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>personally i would like to see more personalized monk weapons. walking around with a cool bo staff on your back is neat and all, but every caster you see has the same darn thing.</DIV> <DIV>we need some monk spades or nunchakus or three sectional staves.</DIV>

<DIV>I am an Iksar Monk.... i have.... scales! :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just dont try to be Mr.UberNinjaIkickEveryonesAss and your fine with playing the Monk.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For me i studied 2 martial arts, one traditional, you actually cant understand Monk ways if u dont practice MA, i know this sounds liek Mr. Knowsall speaks, but its kinda true <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />, its all about accepting things like they are.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The sentence "The highest level of fighting is to dont fight" never made sence to me as a beginner <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Doesent mean i wont to beat the crap out of fools, but they all beeings, even monsters got a spirit, sometimes the spirit is twisted, but isnt that a reason to feel with them instead to finish em off?.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Peace all. :smileywink:</DIV>
