How Does Gut Roar work?

I have this skill, and so far it seems pretty useless. What it does it reflect/absorb a spell or combat art of the target that is attacking you.  Everytime I have used it, i checked my logs, and the counter is resisted.  Both in PVP and PVE.  I'm wondering if aggression will help with these resists in the next patch.Juntao 70 BerserkerNagefen<div></div>
