<DIV>Well...My girlfriend and I started playing EQ2 again. She is playing a ranger, and I decided on a Berserker since I've not really tried a more tank oriented class in this game. I'm really enjoying the class so far, although I'm only level 21. After reading several pages of the Berserker boards I'm seeing very little information about AA abilities other then Stamina line. Honestly the thought of using a buckler doesn't really appeal to me...although I'm starting to break down some and thinking I'll bite the bullet and start working on stamina line. I have been dual wielding up to my current level.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <DIV>So far I've went down the Strength AA line. I've got 4-4-4.   I really like the Strength line...I've always liked Axes, and coming from EQ1 I loved the crits on my rogue. </DIV></DIV> <DIV><STRONG></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG>What I'm looking for is a balanced AA build that is nice dps and has some added defensive AA abilties. I would like to lean a little more towards a dps build though.</STRONG>  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Honestly, right now its best if you rerolled a Guardian.  Zerkers are being nerfed to hell and back.  As far as your AAs go, if you're going to be tanking mostly Stamina line isn't exactly the way to go anymore.  The extra avoidance you get from a tower shield makes a big difference.  Str line in my opinion is the best line we have for the 22% crit chance.  At lower lvls the INT line is also really good since if you have a sword you can buff your haste to around 45+ solo without being berserk.  There are other threads about the viability of each AA line.  Its all really about personal preference though.  Choose whichever line you want.<div></div>

The build I took for my Zerker is 100% dps due to being on a PvP server with no intent on MT status in a raid so I won't push it to you.  On the other hand there are Zerkers out there who have found a nice middleground that is rewarding but be warned, many of them will push the Stamina line.... it is a very good line to ignore just because of looks.  Anyway, welcome again and stick around for the intelligent posts, it will make you a better Zerker in the end <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

<P>I have read the sticky...but went ahead and read it again for good measure.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />   Alot of good information there...but seems like alot of it is rather old posts and alot has changed in the months I've been gone, so wasn't real sure how current the information there was. I think what I'm going to do is just save up my AA's for another 10 levels or so and see how my character is shaping up. At that time I can probably make a more educated decision on what AA's would most benefit my character.</P> <P> </P> <P>Thanks for the replies.  <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>
