<DIV>First....I was curious...with taking the Int line to 4,5,8,8.... taking into considerations our self buffs and going berserk and all other good nasty stuff....would we go over the haste cap? matter of fact I do not even know what the cap is...but for arguements sake lets say our CA's are adepts III's and we are using a greatsword</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was thinking if we took the Agi line to 4,4,8,8 we would have a good proc rate with some ae's, and defense...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>End result....wielding a 2h sword in offensive stance would have us procing some nasty aoe damage...coupled with our aoe CA's and aoe abilites....even with the loss of defense from going offensive stance....would be somewhat made up with the +def, and +parry of Agi and Int...could we tank in offensive mode like this vs white heroics? yellows? granted we need a healer...but we always do anyways....just curious on the kind of dps we could output with this set up.....and still be a viable heroic encounter MT....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>thanks!</DIV>

<DIV>Ok, everyone knows i use 2 Handers. Always have always will!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I currently have 4-4-8 STR, and 4-4-8-8 INT. Im saving the other 8 points to test with.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Moving on.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You CAN tank with a 2 Hander in offensive with the +parry from the INT line, providing your gear is good and you've tried to get +defence and +parry gear. I currently have +38 parry over a normal zerker, which makes a big difference. I do tank in offensive quite a lot of the time... heres some circumstances listed below where i would swap, but this depends on who you roll with. Im fortunate to roll with a good guild who know exactly how i play and vice versa.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've actually started getting requests now to tank in offensive, which is really nice.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>~ Zones / mobs to tank in Offensive with a 2 hander ~</FONT></STRONG></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>PoA</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>HoF (except Sophis and Septimus)</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>Acadechism</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>Vaults</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>Nest</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>Den</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>Blackscale</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>~ Zones / mobs to tank in Defensive with Sword and Board / 2 Hander. ~</FONT></STRONG></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>Valdoon</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>Mistmoore Catacombs</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>Mistmoore Castle</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>Obelisk of Blight</FONT></DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000></FONT></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffffff>Generally, as you can see its the EoF instances which are the hard hitters. However since im PvP based, we are slower in gearing up. I imagine in a few weeks i'll be doing these in offensive as well.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The big benefit to tanking with a 2hander is the stat increase. I have one of the best 1 handers in the game, and a Grizzlefazzles tower shield, and i lose approx 200 health  and powerand about 20 to my STR. However im now using one of the best 2 handers around which was dropped from Vyemm.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lastly, your AA build will be fine, but the AoE auto hit is a NIGHTMARE for raids and crowd control. If your in a good group and you have a good Coec / Illu, they are not gonna be happy with you when you keep breaking the mezz.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hope some of that helps.</DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000></FONT></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000></FONT></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000></FONT></STRONG> </DIV>

<DIV>well I'm going down the INT line currently and have started the AGI line...I've only got 24 AAs so I can't tell you what the finished findings are, but I will say that having the highest delay greatsword has been hard to find...I'm only 62 but I've got a Kettleleader's Katana waiting for me which is 82.6 DPS and 3.0 DLY, which is really the best I can find.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If for some reason I get more haste so I don't have to use the INT CA that gives it to you, I'll be looking for a great spear or some poleaxe that has a real high delay.   There was an axe from the claymore line that I sold (and shooting myself for doing it) that's no trade called the the Axe of Blyze or something like that, it has a 7.0 delay but at level 59-60 I was hitting mobs between 700-1300 damage! Problem was, I didn't have much haste at the time so it kinda was painfully slow.  Imagine autoattack AOE with the cyclone ability with that axe!  I think I'm going to do AGI 4/4/8/8 & INT 4/4/8/8, but I do like the allure of STR crits and WIS DPS, not 100% sure yet</DIV>

<P>Acceleration strike is AWESOME in the int line if you use a sword.  I regularly have 91-100% haste self buffed with acceleration strike and beserk proccing.</P> <P>I'd be willing to say going  4/8/4/8  in the INT line would be better than 4/4/8/8</P> <P>I also went down the AGI line for extra defense since I'm MT of my guild.</P> <P>But  if I had a DPS I'd max out crits in STR line too.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>
