So what is a Berserker?A Berserker is first of all along with the Guardian a warrior, which means he his the one who takes the dmg.Secondary a Berserker has an higher dmg output than a Guardian but a little lower defense (since Lu29 a greater diffrence <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ). May be a Berserker has the highest DMG-Output off all tank classes especially against group encounters, but he is still far far from a real DD.Playing in Groups he is a very good choice. High DMG and still good in tanking.Playing in Raids a Berserker is mostly an OT. Thats a good role i think. I would argue the not as good as a true DPS class...In the right group... you can be in the top 6 for the raid... when not expected to tank.... and this is with only minimal gear swaps it's just you need to be ain a DPS team instead of tank team. (dirge, inquisitor, and some other people buffing your teams melee DPS.)I am talking the whole raid... like ALL of LABS... not just 1 mob here or there... the whole thing.On 1 encounter you can come in first without too much trouble if it is a group of 3 or more mobs and you are willing to risk going destruction + open wounds + juggernaut all at once.  Your compeitition on those is the Warlock and Swashbuckler.. maybe a wizard.3 of us brothers still play ... me as a zeker, and then my 2 oldest lil brothers (if you can count people taller than you as little...) ... assassin and warlock... and let me tell you... I make them work HARD to out DPS me.<div></div>

<P>Very well said.</P> <P> </P> <P>I play a Berserker and I feel that a berserker is not ment to be the main tank all the time. I feel that a guardian is needed for that role which he is better at especialy with realy hard mobs, though with the right group a berserker can do just as good of a job. I do love being the main tank though. Its easyer to hold agro as main tank and just something about hiting 8 mobs at once gets my blood flowing in the middle of a battle.</P>
