I have already checked threads around, but I would like to hear some more opinions. What is the best AA setup for DPSing and only DPSing? EoF & Kos trees if possible. <div></div>

Str and Wis lines - the Str for the increase in Crits and Wis for the increase in DPS and Mit. All I see is big orange numbers when offensive.

<DIV>Id actually say go 448 str, 458 sta, 448 agi.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Those are all bonuses that you cannot get from other sources easily: 24% chance for auto attack to hit frontal AE, 76% double attack and 22% crits.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>DPS and haste are relatively easy to gain (depending on your situation) from other areas via buffs, gear and adornments.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>EOF AAs just follow skills that give enhancements to DPS skills, reduction in Destruction and Open Wounds re-use for example.</DIV>

I tried Nembutal's suggestion as a guardian out of curiosity. I like Bonesplittas idea too, but was concerned about that 24% frontal auto attack breaking mezzes. I'm not sure how valid of a concern that is. I don't see a mezzer often, but some places (Castle Mistmoore) they seem to be an important class to bring along. Anyway, just wanted to say a thanks. I had alot of fun playing with it today and it was great to see a Guardian (me) high up on the dps charts.People say guards can't dps. Apparently we can. A beserker doing it would be even better, but it suited me fine as well.<div></div>

I've pretty much got Nembutal's build, which can be both a curse and a blessing. Last night we did DT since our raidforce is a tad scarce this close to christmas, and I was lucky enough to have an illusionist in my group that put me at 100% double attacks and gave me lurvely haste (which we all love). After being on the top of the dps charts and getting agro on pretty much anything, the person who was main tanking got pretty much fed up with me seeing as we didn't have a coercer in raid and only a dirge. So hence, no emphatic link for me, and no more agro for him. I was a wee bit of a sad puppy when my slack self got put into MT group and I actually had to do something during the raid except press open wounds and destruction ... I even had to taunt (gasp). Now, you can tank just fine with a build like this, and agro-wise it's absolutely brilliant as it does let your raid dish out more dps even if you lack a few key classes for hategain. Well, you can at least in my experience still tank any KoS mob there is and most of the ones in EoF bar Mayong, Wuoshi and mobs within the same tier of difficulty. I for one would not want to even try to tank the Avatars and such with a buckler.I did try other AA lines as well for tankage, and as much as I took a lot less damage with a tower shield, agro was in deed a lot shakier, and when you lack some of the tools Guardians have to mitigate damage and enforce your agro, we are pretty much forced to use damage as our primary method of getting hate, however, like I mentioned earlier, this isn't overly great if we are put in a dps role in a raidforce without any deagros on us, and I can truly understand that other tanks are well peed off when you peel agro from them encounter after encounter even if you aren't doing much./rant offKarabas, 70 berserker of Validus<div></div>

<DIV>Countjackula if an encounter needs mezzing you can just turn off the frontal AE for auto attacks as its a toggled ability. Just don't forget to turn it off :smileysurprised: :smileytongue:</DIV>

Thanks Bonesplitta. On single or two mob encounters I can stay up there on the parse. On 3+ mob encounters I have a harder time with that (I only have one true AE), so the frontal AE would help. I didn't realize you could toggle the skill. And to clarify, I am not using this build to MT raid zones. I raid on a server raid alliance and there is always a better geared MT available. If things go badly for the MT I'm there to jump in but that's it. I couldn't justify staying so defensive when those AA defensive boosts weren't needed. As such, doing more dps helps me bring more to the raid force. I can still manage to MT group content with a more dps focused build, so it's been a good trade off for now.<div></div>
