Stamina Line, Some thoughts

Ok now with the expansion i have been takeing a beating big time on my Zerker. I have full Leg/some fableds/and leg from raids Doomrage and such. All adept III's and so on...Im speced in sta and str. I need str/sta for agro, but may be able to keep agro without it. My dps would plumit though. The wiz/warlocks would not be able to do what they can do now if i droped the sta line.But what i want to know is from the people who are not speced in sta line. Preffered people with similar gear as me but any input is good.Can you keep agro???....With no outside help (coercers ect.)Whats your avoidence/Mit in total def stances? (no 30 sec buffs) alone (not in a grp)I have an excelent shield and if i can spec out of sta line to take damage better i might do it.Any thoughts?Skullz Kage70 ZerkerAlpha LegionBlackburrow<div></div>

<P>I've had a wide variety of builds over the course of KoS but once EoF came out I made some drastic changes.</P> <P>Previous build I had  4/8/8/8 in Stamina ,  4/4/5/8 in Wis</P> <P>I had buckler reversal and buckler block + 76% double attack with 1hander.  8 points in mit and 5 points in dps.</P> <P>With the changes in EoF  I got rid of both Stamina and Wisdom lines completely.</P> <P> </P> <P>Since EoF :</P> <P>I went 4/4/4/8/8  in Agility,  4/4/4/5/8 in Int.</P> <P> </P> <P>This gives me 15% chance to attack multiple targets, 8 points in passive Defense, and Dragoons Reflexes (Parry all attacks 100%) from the agility line.</P> <P>This also gives you good passive self haste, 8 points in parry (17 or so).    </P> <P>My absorbtion from losing 300 mit went down only 1.2% but my avoidance went up 9%.   An awesome tradeoff if you ask me.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P> <P>By spending KoS AA points on your defensive skills, this frees you up to use all your EoF AA's on the clearly DPS oriented ones.</P> <P>So my defense is better than its ever been (since parry and defense actualy do soemthing now) and my DPS is on par with previous builds due to the EoF AA's.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

That avoidance is sick. But i have one problem.How do you keep agro?And what are these EoF clearly dps AA's? what the 25% to our AoE's? Um thoes are the only ones worth getting. I was ganna get them anyways lol. And there not even that good, the casting time on them is so long if you cant them in battle your ganna loose agro b4 they go off lol.EoF's awafull AA's aside you really do keep agro with that build?Thank youfor your post though. Gives me something to think about....Really does seem Mit is broken badly.</div>

<P>I keep agro just fine.   I've got master 1 to all spells save for single target taunt.  I've got all fabled gear and Tower Shield of Strife that also proc's hate.   The DPS from the EOF AA's (Increase dmg % on virtually all of them + the fast recasts of Destruction etc) I have no issues with agro.</P> <P> </P> <P>When raiding all we use is a single Dirge in MT group and agro wasnt an issue either.</P> <P> </P> <P>I had to pay 10p to respec and I was really worried I'd regret ditchign the dps from buckler reversal or the mit from wis line but  I couldnt be happier with the build.</P> <P> </P> <P>My EXT DPS was still 615 at the end of the night.</P> <P> </P> <P>Best 10p I ever spent.</P><p>Message Edited by Jvaloth on <span class=date_text>12-09-2006</span> <span class=time_text>05:04 PM</span>
