STA+WIS AA line, quick question

you only need a 1h crush for one of the wis line abilities, and if you can't find one, I wouldn't sweat it that much.<div></div>

<DIV>As was written above, you only need a hammer for Bellysmash which also requires your target to be knocked down first. It is nice to be able to do since Bellysmash is a good effect.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You can get a Hammer of Formation in SoS (or buy one for 20g-ish). It is DW and better than xegonite. It even has a nice 300 dmg proc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I am tanking in a group (sword and board) I can easily shield slam the target, switch in the hammer of formation for bellysmash and then switch back to the 1H.  Bellysmash does more than enough damage to cover the quick drop in auto-attack damage from using the DW and has a nice mit debuff as well. Bellysmash is also instant cast so you can swap in and out and barely miss an autoattack round with your 1Her.  You have about 2 seconds to react to the knockdown. If I am not tanking, then I use DW withe hammer in primary but I have to rely on others to knock down the target.</DIV>

if you raid much, dont worry about a crush weapon... you will almost never get to use bellysmash... since raid incounters are immune to most (if not all) knockdowns...

Arn't a lotta great 1 handed berserker mace weapons.. Cudgel of Pain is the best option and usually relatively cheap when it appears on the market compared to most fabled 1 handers. It carries some decent stat bonuses, a decent proc, small power regen and it even adds extra damage to every attack including combat arts.<div></div>

<DIV>I still use my Sceptre of Rahotep (DoF Heritage Quest) if I NEED a crushing weapon.  Post mitigations changes with EoF, best to invest in Legendary gear and +hps items over weapons, though. Mastercrafted armor doesn't help much when tanking +1 or higher heroics now. Anything with +defense or +slash/pierce/crush is very attractive. </DIV>
