Hi, I played a SK while my wife an inquisitor.....while we did ok we did it rather slow.....I want to make a beserker but we dont know what a good match up would be. My wife likes to heal some but likes damage more. I actually talked to a lvl 70 zerker in game and he said he duoed with his wife as a zerker/swashy......I thought that odd as she was NOT a healer. Is a zerker/swashie capable of taking down heroic ^^^ as a duo? I could not do it as a lower lvl SK without vitae and the buffs/debuffs of my wife. I dont see a swashy providing as much but maybe their buffs and added DPS make for killing that much faster negating the need to heal.....anyone have any experience with that?I really want to play a zerker but need a good partner....I dont want to do the bruiser/fury duo as you see them everywhere. We are looking for a zerker duo that can achieve the same results as a bruiser/fury but maybe at a slower pace or with more risk. Can anyone suggest any tips for a good Zerker/scout or Zerker/priest duo (minus druids)????Thanks<div></div>

<P>Well, my GF has played both a Swashbuckler and a Fury with my Zerker.</P> <P>The Fury was nice, heals buffs, some decent damage. Made us able to do things that were on the hard side. Easy to get groups too (what group doesn't need a healer and tank?).</P> <P>THe Swashbuckler is very nice, really nice damage. Can still take things on that lean on the harder side due to her nice solid DPS and my aggro lock down ability. Easier to get groups (have seldom never gotten any tells when we broadcasted tank and DPS lfg).</P> <P>The Swashie and Zerker kill a lot faster and both have an AE flavor to them.</P>

Fury + Zerker is great... the aggro stays where it is supposed to and the heals really help. The Fury has a nice "beserk" like proc buff also... so at lvl 70 just 2 boxing I am often at 104% DPS and 102% haste with 670+ STR... I am not "elite" really I mean I am geared well... but I am not "Elite" I just started fresh on a new server with a new class etc in June... and that's how I run around... breaking the old caps while 2 boxing.I also have like 150 points or so of permanent in-combat regen... so it takes a decent mob to even scratch me enough to heal... solo mobs just usually don't matter to me with my DPS, MIT, and regen... <div></div>

I use a 57 zerker/mystic combo and while the DPS might not be what your wife is looking for from the mystic, my survivability when taking on ^^^ named is incredible. If you want more DPS I would suggest the fury or warden even. Just focus on good armor for the zerker and upgrade your main healing line of spells and you will be set. I two-box and have never tried adding a scout class to my zerker but it seems a viable especially if you can chain your stuns with that of the swash....<div></div>

I play a Q-Side zerker and my wife plays a pally. I have found that with her wards and my mit we can duo up to blue^^^. Nameds are a different story, we seems to be limited to green ^^^ nameds. All-in-all we ae a solid duo. Just my 2cp.
I duo with a warden. Some yellow ^^^, but he's uber...

if you have a limitless amount of time and enjoy named hunting, can't go wrong duoin w/ a chanty. Kill till you run out of power or health, mez, have breeze and in combat health regen, repeat.

You need a healer to be the most effective duo in my opinion. The Fury is the only truely viable option, while the warden is decent with improved heals, the Fury deals out more damage and the best defense is killin the critters asap so they can't keep hitting you. The fury gets some powerful offensive spells including a nuke encounter attack and even a wild AoE. They also contribute some seriously good buffs to the Berserker including mit bonus and str/dps/haste buffs.Bonus, you always have an insta-group just waiting for extra parts as needed. My wife and I play this combo and she loves it as she doesn't just want to heal, she also wants to dish out damage. If she doesn't want to play a healer, a warlock or wizard will add the most effective dps with some chaining to give you a breather when your hps are running low, a lot harder to keep aggro with them around though.<div></div>

<DIV>I'm a Defiler who duos frequently with a Zerker, and I recommend the combo highly. He works on building unbreakable aggo while I run through my bevy of debuffs, then he cuts loose with the combat arts while I ward/heal/ward/heal. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also duo my Coercer with a different Zerker, and while it's an effective combo, you need a patient Zerker who won't break the mezzes with the AOE attacks. That takes some getting used to, and it pretty much goes against the grain for a Zerker, but if he's willing to play patiently we can rip down targets in short order.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lastly: I'm currently building a Zerker to run with my friend's Fury - that's the combo that makes the most sense 'on paper'.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Nolomite on <span class=date_text>11-24-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:57 PM</span>

I duo with a warden but don't have alot of duo experience with other healers. We can take out single 70-72^^^ trash mobs in the EOF instances but it's a close fight usually. Doubt we could pull off white/ylw named altho a blue named might be doable. Wardens make great healers and their new cure AAs do help mitigate a bit of the damage you take, although even the extra mitigation helps far less than it would've pre-EOF. I do wish sometimes she were a fury instead, mostly for the xtra haste/dps. For single targets, wardens do pretty decent dps...probably similar to a fury.<div></div>

<DIV>Fury or Warden. I duo with a Fury and it owns. Wardens will heal a little better and less frequently with more HoT's, but their damage wont be as powerful.</DIV>

<DIV>fury is the best partner for zerker (or any other fighter) by a long shot, warden would be 2nd best choise, if you want to try something more dps oriented I would go with necro they can heal a little (actually quite well for dps class, big life transfer on 6sec recast + lifetaps to get HP back from mob) and they have good dps</DIV>

I am a Q-side Zerker, and I duo with a Templar. She doesn't do a whole lot of damage, but she can keep me alive forever while I do the damage. I have not experimented much since GU29, but before that we could regularly duo ^^^ heroic mobs 4 lvls up on us. We would both be out of power, but we could do it. Both of us are mostly mastercrafted, a few legandary and fableds, so our gear isn't awesome, but we can do a lot. Nameds were are only able to do even con or lower, since we do not have enough DPS. I would not trade my Templar for any other class.

Zerker and Templar for us. That combo seems to work pretty well for us. But what do we know, we are only level 31. They are our highest level characters. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
