Every class is getting "scaled back" by 10 -15% initially on EVERYTHING. Most classes are saying the class AAs are not up to par.

Zerkers seem to have taken a larger hit in that we get back less than say guardians in our AA lines. Avoidance tanks got some love with the changes to Epic mobs but not the huge boost overall that it was inital portrayed to be. Seems to me that the new AAs are meant to give us back what the scaling is taking away.

I say a post saying Mit is still king, but only time will tell. Guess we are not the FOTM anymore.

We are not getting nerfed. First off, ALL gear went down in mitigation and saves. But these are relative to the combat changes. Thus, the lower mitigation/resist number still mitigates/resists the same percentage of incoming damage as before. And the scale back in damage on CAs/Spells across the board are also relative to the new combat system, and thus do relatively the same percentage of damage to a given mob. When in beta, I noticed very little change in my ability to tank or deal damage.

Laer

Ehh anyways tho the game will go on, but ill bet moeny the 1st week of eof goes live will see huge changes when the masses get a whiff of the poop. just my 2c tho.

Is only newly created gear getting nerfed, a la the crafted armor nerf, or are they nerfing existing gear as well? If it's only the new stuff then I'll need to have a few sets for all tiers made for potential new twinks, otherwise I'll buy WoW (amazingly enough, I've never tried that game yet).

It's good to have junkies for customers.

Gear across the board is getting a reduction to it's mitigation as well as the resis stats. THe str,sta etc is staying hte same as well as the HP and power stats. As far as what specifically is getting "nerfed' for berserker is this the chacne to proc berserk when you are not the MT has been dramatically lowered. The % has stayed the same but from numerous testing but the different beta berserkers it does not proc anywhere close as much as it use to. IF you are the MT it still procs roughly the same amount. The only other "nerf" is the fact that our new AA tree's aren't all that great. There are some good abilities within them, I wont'a rgue that, but overall I can say in my opinion that I am greatly disappointed especially in the 4 'end' abilities none of them are worth a hoot.

Now that it's launched, it's plain and simple. The entire game, every player, got nerfed. They sank the entire game in one fell swoop. Yay, SoE! *shakes head in discust*

Laer

I consider the changes a bad thing. The combat system before was fine imo. I don't see buying a new expansion to find yourself weaker than before to be a good thing. The whole point is to add new content to make your characters stronger --> happier customers..i.e. DoF and KoS. Nerfing everyone then adding content to bring people back to par to what they were before is simply a way to prolong the "grind" and squeeze more months out of paying customers. As for the changes, I think anyone who tanks took the hardest hits obviously. My casters were relatively unaffected if not stronger with the caps removed and not having to tank anything lol. Our AA line is also pretty subpar compared to what my other characters got, although I'd say most people are disappointed with their EoF lines since we were using the KoS ones for comparison, which are just better.
