<DIV>I had noticed some disturbing things while in Beta, and I chalked it up to the changes in Mit and Avoidance effecting my survivablity. I was kind of anti new combat because of this but I think I may have been misplacing my angst. I broke down the combat to its very basics...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>One problem I had while in beta is I couldn't parse myself. This is due to the way the devs have rewriten damage in the combat logs...I am told that parse makers have been notified and hopefully there will be a fix for this soon.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, here is the startling discovery, I actually saw a post on the Beta Boards about it, but I didn't realize what an impact it was having till tonight. Berserking buffs are not procing...self or group...the rate they proc is really really low now. I did some more tests....if your tanking, your semi ok, you will get a few berserk procs in a fight. If your dpsing, forget about it....I did some tests on things that couldn't hit me but I could wail on, and berserk didn't proc at all...Even when getting hit, I was still not seeing very many procs from either our self buff, or the group buff, and if your not getting hit, forget about it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This was really hurting my dps, I guess, and my survivablity was suffering...since I couldn't parse, I had no idea this was the culprit. I read somewhere they monkeyed with the proc rates of things...I hope they realize that going berserk is like...a class defining thing...and switch us back...I hope they don't expect us to take a bunch of crappy Achievements to get back to the standard Berserking type warriors we have always been...I can't help but notice that there is an achievement for both the self bufff, and the group buff, and an ultimate that makes you go berserk for 10 seconds when you hit it...is this as intended?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I certainly hope not...alot of berserkers are a staple in their Raids DPS group because they can buff haste and dps...this buff depends on the buff procing berserk when the group members hit things....if it no longer procs off hitting things, then the only time we will be berserk is when tanking....sad state of affairs...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Syrius Silverblade</DIV> <DIV>70/50 Berserker</DIV> <DIV>Venekor</DIV>

<P>The OP is correct about the proc and survivability. WE got nerfed. so did brigs.</P> <P>Gone will be the days of pulling a whole room in Nest or Den. I have been mentioned to the devs and hopefully this gets "adjusted" before EoF goes live.</P>

Our berserk proc is being lowered?!  Please, PLEASE tell me this is a f-ing bug and will be fixed.  The Berserker class in EQ2 doesn't live up to the "name" as it is right now, nerfing the class or/and one of our main abilities is a complete f-ing insult.  As you can tell I'm very upset.<div></div>

Ok, ok, I'll stop pouting.  But, if they nerf us just a little bit...I'll...I'll...well [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn], I guess I'll just keep playing.   What the hell was my point again?...oh yeah....we need buffs not nerfs.  As for the AA, I can't f-ing wait.Thanks for the news bits Con<div></div>

i noticed this immediatly when I got into beta and made a zerker. The proc annimation goes off but the effect does not. It seems the best way to berzerk is either to be hit (tanking) or make a killing blow. I've /bugged this and /feedback. Hopefully it won't go live. I'm expecting to be a bug to do with the new AA lines. I've tried with the enhancements and without, same results.

I use to at least survive a minute or so. not now</DIV><BR> <HR> </BLOCKQUOTE> <P><BR>Alright the deal on this issue is, our mit is lower, but mobs have been tuned so that they are lower in relation to the mit, but the encounters are set up so that you can't solo even a low Blue con ^^^ Heroic anymore...or so they say...I have had mixed success with this, I can barely solo a green ^^^ heroic with about 15 to 20% health left, but I was able to solo a Blue con ^^^ level 66 heroic, but then I tried to solo that same mob again when it respawned, and it pwned me...so I guess its up to the random number generator on hits and missess and how hard you get hit, but the consensus is if your in mostly legendary gear, the days of soloing Blue or higher ^^^ mobs are over...also don't automatically blame Physical Mit if you lose against a mob you have had success soloing in the past....Resists to magic, cold, heat ect have been nerfed severly....if that mob has an attack based on one of these, you will prolly get pwned fast...</P> <P>I got in a group the other day and we went to Kaladim, was only me (70/50 Zerker) 70 Fury, and 70 Ranger...we had no problems getting deep in there, starts out green and gets blue in a hurry....and the Fury was only casting a HoT at start of fight, and maybe an occasional heal here and there...and I was doing crazy crap to test survivablity, like pulling 4 level 66ish heroic Encounters with gibe, and going rambo to see if I could survive...used WoF and Mayhem a few times....went fine.</P> <P>I think we are gonna come out fine through this expansion, sure our New Zerker Tree isn't anything to get excited about, leaving most of us wondering why we would bother xping to gain AP's, but at least we seem to be the same crazy [Removed for Content] that run into a room and gibe Everything and still be standing at the end of the fight, while the ground is littered with corpses, and Treasure Chests... </P> <P>Syrius</P>

Good thing my guild love this ogre lol.
