I call my weapons toys and I LOVE to collect them.  Im at T7 and there are a whole lot to choose from at that tier.  I would think in PvP a two hander or DW against casters would be good and maybe sword and board against melee.  I don't know for sure though.  Shield is just increased Mit but then you can stun bash with it too which could interupt.  To be honest, I've never dueled too much.

<P>well, i will say, that the best depends on what you can afford. you will level through your twenties quickly, so i would save your money for your 40s...in the mean time see if you can get a good deal on a steel cluster and get a two handed great sword or claymore made.</P> <P> </P> <P>my experience in dueling your best bet is a two hander, and time your swings in between hitting your combat arts...when you get higher and get a spell called rampage its fun to get a couple falchions or other duel wield weapons and just go into a group of players or mobs swords blazing.</P> <P> </P> <P>sword and shield at that level, i used a steel longsword, not player crafted,but dropped, and shield of the scion.</P>
