Was just curious what some of you parse in raids. Zone wide parses are what im interested in, not single encounters. So like i parse 1200 Lyceum, 1300 Labs, 1100 DT etc, often with an offtank setup, tanking several named encounters, speced as Wis 4 4 8 5 1 and Sta 4 4 8 4 would be tremendously helpful information. My pars varies, but average on zones like lyceum and labs I do ~1000, and thats mainly cause my gear is kinda craptastic, and im missing a ton of masters.<div></div>

When you say you parse 1100 etc are you saying over the whole night or percieved average for encounters?

I think the highest I have ever parsed on a raid was 1800+ but I was in offensive not tanking in all offensive gear in a good group... on a multiple mob encounter using both rampages and juggernaught... and I am sure I came [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] close to dying because when I parse that high I typically get aggro and die.I think I typically parse 900-1000 in a decently balanced offensive group on raids without grabbing aggro... and about 1200-1300 when I want to push it to the limit and risk screwing up mob placement etc... 1800 is fairly rare.I have parsed over 2,500 but that was on I think the boss of "nest of the great egg" which is no biggie.I am not 100% dmg equipped... I am more of a hybrid between tank and DPS... and fairly early in the "gear up" process. I am still 2 AA shy from max also which would allow me to be in offensive more without taking such a big penalty.<div></div>

Cant remember my average zone parses for DT or Labs, but i know i normally hit about 1300 in Lyceum and 1100 in HoS tanking.

Speaking of DPS boosts... how many of you jam on the "belly smash" Wisdom AA line ability even on epics... it works sometimes... it would be better to know when it would land... but even with the way it is now sometimes I get lucky and that makes me happy.  It's a nice MIT debuff.

I parse around 500-600 in just about all raids but then I'm the MT for my guild so I"m pretty happy with that. When I use Rampage and Open Wounds I can get the DPS up near 1000 as the MT. Since I am so rarely not the MT I really don't know what I parse as the off tank or in the straight melee group. I do know it's not as high as I want it to be since I am still using the legendary 2 hander from HoF, we haven't gotten amny 2 handers to drop like 3 total in 3+ months of t7 raiding I know I know everyone wants to how is that possible we just have really bad luck hehe, also I'm spec'd out at wis 4-4-5-8 agi 4-4-4-8 and 8 in first box of sta.

<DIV>My parses will seem low due to my level, but what I find interesting is everyone reports having more DPS when off-tanking.  I find that my DPS increases dramatically when I am the MT.  Here are a few of my saved parses from instance heroic zones and a level 60 raid that I recently participated in:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As MT in Hidden Cache (mostly white multiple encounters):  278 (level 55)</DIV> <DIV>As MT in Breeding Ground (all yellow single encounters): 244 (level 60)</DIV> <DIV>As OT in Breeding Ground (all yellow single encounters): 193 (level 60)</DIV> <DIV>As OT in City Raid: Daring Encounter x2 (mostly single encounters): 174 (level 60)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Plus, I am not sure if there is some inflation on the previously reported numbers (over 900), but last night while running through a x2 raid with level 70 guild members on a level 60 raid the highest overall parser was a Brigand with 676, the closest OT zerker was 303.  I can see Zade_Po's numbers being realistic, since our MT Guard was parsing 410 (and they have less DPS then us zerkers).  But anything over 900 for an entire raid seems impossible.</DIV>

I find that hte longer the fight the higher my dps is, especially compared to other classes that end up running out of power while I hardly ever go below half since I let my auto attack do all my dps. If the highest dps in your raid only parsed at 676, you guys have a LOT of gearing up to do, and maybe grp balancing issues to work out. The top dps'r in my guild is a necro, and his avg dps is 1.7k+ every night. Some nights he has some good lucky streaks and he will avg 2k for the night. When I was specc'd 4/4/8 str, 4/4/8 sta, and 4/4/8 wis, I was usually nipping right at our necro's heels using a shadow axe. My avg parses was 1.2k for the night, in the zones with lots of multiple mob encounters like in labs, my avg would be a lot higher as I got to cycle in destruction and open wounds a lot. I respec'd recently out of sta line, and my dps dropped to an avg of like 600. And I just couldn't stand the dps drop so I went back to sta, but since I OT a lot more now and am frequently the second tank I went 5/4/8/8 sta, and 4/4/8/8 wis. With this spec my avg dps is about 800-900 depending on how hard I am trying and how much time I spend in def stance.</div>

Any other tips on settings to use to get the most accurate parsing?</P></BLOCKQUOTE></DIV></BLOCKQUOTE><BR>

To do a zone wide parse on ACT here is what ya do.  First things first, in the options there is a default setting that limits the number of saved encounters to 20. You need to remove that limit, because there will me waaay more than 20 encounters in a raid zone. Then, on the bottom left of the screen in the main tab, there is a checkbox that says show checkboxes. Hit that and little check boxes appear next to every encounter and you will get three new options on the bottom left of the screen. Hit the ALL button and it will put a check mark in each of those little boxes next to the encounters and then hit Merge checked. Now this will take awhile to complete, how long depends on how good of a comp you have. When its down it will show a new encounter called merged or something like that. Viola, there is your avg parse for the entire night. On a side note, if you then wanna post that for your guild/grp to see, you can right click on the merged encounter in the encounter list, and choose to export to clipboard. Then just paste it in like normal.<div></div>
