<DIV>I am working on getting my Alchemist to make these spells.  Now I have the option to buy the Adept or buy the rares and make an Adept III.  As you can imagine the rares are more expensive then the Adept I for obvious reasons.  However, I have heard rumors that for some of the Ancient Teaching CAs, the benefits are all the same no matter what level you have.  So basically an Adept I = Adept III = Master I (sounds crazy, but I got this information off of a pretty dependable crafter website).  I just want to make sure that it is worth the time getting the rares for the following before spending way more than I need to.  If someone could give me a quick run down of the differences it would be great.  I have the folllowing CAs that concern me the most and why I am having to ask in the forums:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Insolent Gibe (no Adept I, no Adept III, no Master)</DIV> <DIV>Vision of Madness (no Adept I, Adept III, no Master)</DIV> <DIV>Open Wounds (Adept I on broker, no Adept III, no Master)</DIV> <DIV>Jokernot (no Adept I, no Adept III, Master on broker)</DIV><p>Message Edited by tvieson on <span class=date_text>10-11-2006</span> <span class=time_text>05:09 PM</span>

Your source is wrong, there is definately a big differance between the adept1 vs adept 3 vs master 1 on those spells.<div></div>

There is one ancient teaching spell that I know of like this (there may be others) - conjuror call of the hero - but this is the exception rather than the rule.  Due to its nature (summoning a raid/team member) it doesn't really have a 'quality' and the adept 1/adept 3/master 1 versions that -do- exist in the game (you can see that the icon looks like adept 1 or master 1 with fabled tag, or adept 3 books) aren't marked as adept 1/adept 3/master 1. For the zerker spells you mentioned the quality definitely does affect the spell and there is a marked difference between adept 1/adept 3/master 1 versions of the spells. <div></div>

I would STRONLY recommend spending the plat for the rares and getting them made ADP III - remember these spells "never" will get upgraded. It will be the best plat you will ever spend in the game because they will never be obsolete.
