What am I supposed to do??

Currently I am a severely undergeared, newbie level 21 berserker, and I have no idea how to gear myself up. Right now I have 25gold saved up from selling stuff, and it is nearly impossible to get a group that is good enough and not dumb enough for the armor quests. This leaves me behind and getting rocked in pvp, and in pve. What am I supposed to do? Right now I am a level 10 outfitter and I can not afford steel armor.Thanks...<div></div>

<P>If you want money/spells then keep harvesting for loams/metals.  It takes some time to figure out what works best for you.  </P> <P>Do some low end quests for xp and some gear.</P> <P>Group with people not just for the armor quests (kinda rare that people do them now) but for xp / named / instances.</P> <P>Play around with other classes if this is your first, maybe a zerker isn't your play style.</P> <P>Look at some different guilds.  The ones that are family style and newb friendly will help you out with questions/quests.</P> <P>Don't beg for money.  It's time consuming and will make you less cash than if you went after trash mobs for vendor loot.</P> <P>Ummmm, that's all I can think of.   In the later levels writs will give you ok xp and some good stuff to sell (I made a plat in sellable loot in the DoF writs everytime I ran them, about 25 plat in a couple of days).</P>

<P>Run a healer.  Get to level 70.  Harvest rares and collectibles in T6 and T7.  Sell the stuff for lots of gp and plat (don't bother tradeskilling, it's a waste of time if you want to make plat fast).  Then, when you've got a bank with 10 feysteels, 10 ebons, 10 cobalts and 10 xegonites as well as 7 rutheniums, 7 rhodiums, 7 vandiums and 7 acrylias from overharvesting until you're bored to death, you can get someone to craft you some decent gear.  Oh, and you'll want 10-12 rare loams at each tier to get Ad3's or use some plat to buy masters on the broker.</P> <P>Man, then you'll have a rockin' Zerker and it'll be a lot of fun to play it.</P> <P>The healer gets leveled fast because you don't get resisted by the tank, relatively few want to run a healer, and you'll always get groups kililng mobs that are yellow to you.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

<DIV>I feel your pain my friend, I decided to reroll to a pvp server and make a Berserker, and I'm not gonna lie its pretty brutal early on but its totally worth it. Right now your probly getting thrashed cause your running into twinks. I found it best to try and find a consistant group of people and find a nice desolate place. If your on FP side you can gain quite a few levels in serpent sewers if you can get a nice solid group. Also if you have not done so, pick up the splitpaw saga its got a few nice instances that you can keep reseting and killing over and over again, even though it gets boring its safe leveling, also you can do harclave once every level for a nice chunk of XP.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now like what was said in an earlier post, try and keep your gear and CAs as up to date as possible. Even if it involves a ton of farming. At your level you can harvest in the eternal gorge and keep reseting to get T3 rares, that should help you out alot. Also try and make friends, it'll take time but in between harvesting try and find groups for stuff. <div></div>Thanks for all of the advice everyone! I am on Nagafen, Qeynos side. I am trying to max out my other professions right now like wood gathering(forgot the name)trapping, and gathering, right now mining is maxed. I gathed a load of carbonite and some gold last night in TS should I use it to have carbonite gear made until I find some steel ore? I would keep on gathering.  Get some rares.  The healer idea sounds good too from the above post.
