Which class do you like to have grouped with you ?

They are medium dps class that can help in a big way by buffing the group. Especially handy is the in-combat mana regen. They can put on a hate buff is agro control is a problem, on top of the dps and defensive buffs. I know that when tanking with my zerker or SK, I absolutely love having a bard in the group. It allows the group to kill faster with less downtime. A coercer or illusionist would also be a good choice if you don't want to play a scout. In-combat mana regen, dps/haste buff depending on which you choose, and crowd control. <div></div>

<DIV>You have zerker and defiler?  Yea, a dirge would be a great pick.  No need for another healing class.  If you're fighting stuff hard enough to require 2 healers, you're gonna need more dps in your group too, or you will be out of power trying to dps all by yourself.</DIV>

Tough, but can be done.
