I guess it means if I run away from a mob, I don't fight it, my armor will not proc to heal me. Am I right? And why this change? -sigh- They are also reducing the bucklers protection... for the one of you that use them, so that's 2 nerfs.- The following bucklers had their block chance reduced for balancereasons:- Shield of the Flapping Wing- Azjerorz Guard- Nocturnal Supremacy- The Blazing Shield of Heat Reflection can no longer be equipped bypriests.- The Ancient Velium Rapier was changed from +slashing to +piercing.<strong><font color="#ffcc00">*** Items ***</font></strong> <div> </div> <div>- Berserkers, guardians, dirges, and templars can speak with the original Relic and Hooloh hat quest givers to trade for profession hats with a new appearance. Once the trade has been made, you cannot trade back to the old appearance.berserker/guardian/dirge/templar players will now be able to go to the original quest givers for Relic and Hooloh hats and trade their old appearances to new appearances. It will not be possible to change back to an old non-customized appearance once the trade has been made. - Wastestalker Cowl now has a chain helm appearance.</div></div><div></div><p>Message Edited by cr0wangel on <span class=date_text>06-09-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:46 PM</span>

If you are running away from a mob, it means your pants (or shield or whatever) won't proc causing damage to the mob and thus locking the encounter causing your run speed bonuses to drop and your health/power regens to slow. For me it's freaking annoying trying to just breeze pass a bunch of greens on a carpet just to have my pants fire off and lock the encounter. The healing issue is moot because it will still proc if you are running away while still engaged in the encounter. If you are running away with the encounter not locked, the natural health regen from being out-of-combat is high enough on its own unless of course you never bother carrying food with you. This is also for armor only so your reactive regen proc will still work.If anything, it makes it easier to just run through a bunch of aggro making this change a huge travel buff. The shields make sense, to me it's obvious they were way out of whack with what a buckler should be.<div></div>

<DIV>- Armor procs and damage shields will no longer trigger until you fight back.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That is not a nerf at all, but a great change.  If your fighting, you will proc, all this means is that when running or training, you wont be tagging encounters with reactives, love this.  Guess if you want a heal to proc when running its bad, but its well worth change imo.  Just use bind wound imo.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Bucklers</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Guess some could call it a nerf, but a few bucklers having double or triple protection then every other buckler in the game was clearly a mistake.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Only thing that could be called an actual nerf imo is the change to the vanquish line.  It is having the stun changed into a stifle/root but all the classes pretty much had their stuns removed or nerfed severely, cept chanters.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Khalad on <span class=date_text>06-09-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:58 AM</span>

If you use 2 handers then yea the vanq change feels like a nurf for sure. If your sword and board (I am alot pvp server) then its accually a boost. Now I wont have to worry about if the dude im stunning is still immune from vanq when I shield bash, or from my stunning cry, I can pop shield bash, 4 seconds later pop vanq so he cant cast for another 7 seconds then after that pop stun cry and keep them locked down casting on me wise aslong as I want. <div></div>

the proc change, is very much welcomed, i haven't had any reactive proc armors for a while but i remember running and being locked in combat... that was annoying.the rest of the changes are perfectly well in line with the whole balance of the game.<div></div>

I am mixed myself but I am more in favor of the change than against.  I always like the proc when I got a add and saw the fireball head off behind me.  What I did not like was trying to clear aggro and getting pulled into a fight where I had to stop, regroup and try to keep running it off.  Guess I will just have to wait and see how it plays out. <div></div>

The proc change is especially huge for PVP. Nothing like standing at the griffon waiting to meet up with your group with a group of reds come to gank you and your proc fires off locking you in combat, thus making it so you can't take griff to escape. I was actually going to not get imbued shields and pants because of this problem as it's caused more than a few deaths for me. <div></div>

<P>This is the real nerf :</P> <P><BR> </P> <BLOCKQUOTE> <HR> Berserker: Vanquish - Is now a 6s stifle/root instead of a 6-7s stun<BR><BR> <HR> </BLOCKQUOTE> <P><BR>I know that almost all stun from other class are nerfed too, but this was our only good stun (buckler 2s PVE - 1s PvP and Bloodbath pbae stun 2s PVE - 1s PVP casting time 3s).</P> <P>If you're doing PVP it will really be hard now...</P>

<P>So long stamina line AA! Yet again SOE gives us a nice skill only to take it away once it proves to be effective. At least we are not being nerfed as bad as my necro.</P> <P>Why do I play this stupid game?</P> <P> </P>

Wouldn't of just have been simplier to change the graphic for the helms automatically.  Rather than having us run back to the stoopid bird.  And also Relic quest giver?  Did i miss something here.  Are they talking about the Armorsmith in Sol Eye? <div></div>
