Ive reached lvl 50 and got a cobalt cluster and some lambent extract... now Im wondering which weapon I should make out of that.Im using the executioner's wrath AA skill, and a tower shield so its gotta be a one-handed axe. But which one?I heard people say an assault axe would be best, but what advantage does it have over a battle axe?The battle axe has a shorter delay, so the gleaming strike will trigger more often. I dont know about the other stats of the two weapons though. What are the differences? Thanks in advance for any advice

The stats of t6 weapons are all the same, same value for agi, sta, str, so can take what you like.

For delay: faster weapon = lower proc rate and vice versa, so take the weapon with the graphic you like best.

hmm then it would be interesting to know for which weapon delay this 5% gleaming strike proc actually applies...anyway I think Ill get an assault axe now
As I understand it the defalt % to proc rate is based on a 3 second delay. If the weapon is faster then it has a lower proc per swing rate and if it is slower then it has a higher proc per swing rate all balancing out in the end.

interesting... thats probably correct. at least I always had the feeling that gleaming strike triggered way less than with every 20th hit, Ive been using mostly weapons with a 2sec delay or lower.
