I am a level 51 Beserker and have no problem tanking in groups.. however, soloing, I find myself needing to do quests blue or below... I have trouble soloing most whites.. I can do it, but I use up almost all of my power... so it is quite slow.. is this normal?<div></div>

<P>get some T6 drink and food (probaly already have it).</P> <P>What kind of gear do you have? I was lucky to have a friend "lend" me 10 plat and I bought rares to get imbued armour and weapon made. What lvl are ur spells @ ? Adp1? start getting Adp IIIs as well - I have 2 so far and is the last thing for me to spend my cash on.</P> <P>I can solo ^^^ heroic named (green) and ^^^ heroic blue mobs.</P>

The problem is more getting hit often/hard than doing damage.. my equipment is just what I've been able to find at my level in dungeons... I only have 5 p saved up, which I think is pretty good for a newbie(only been here 1.5 months).  I guess I'll just wait until high level to get up to date stuff...<div></div>

Are you trying to solo heroic mobs or jsut normal mobs... I have no trouble doing anything yellow con 1 arrow up or below solo but trying to solo even a green triple up mob I can still have issues with unless it's a straight caster mob

also what is a run-down of your gear, mediocre gear will hinder your ability to take hits, plus lower power pool if you lack the str or +power stats on gear, with a suit of rare crafted armor or equiv. you should be ok, if you are still having problems learn to time and cycle your stuns to keep the mobs from attack as much.oh and use shield, it helps give you extra 4 sec stun plus more avoidance<div></div>

<P>i recommend to alot of people (especially zerkers) to do this ... </P> <P>Get the 3 city writs that take you to the SS's wall on the left side...by that i mean the spot where the Rujarkian Orcs are, the um Dervish Cutthroat types and such. You can harvest those collectables, kill the mobs you need and get XP for all that ... and while your between fights, harvest the stone nodes there. You can get stuff to have Adept 3's made and cobalt armor. You will be using that cobalt even through T7 unless you get better legendary/fabled drops (because for the most part Xegonite isnt much of an increase if at all). It's definately worth it.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Soloing is all about 3 things</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1) Gear</DIV> <DIV>2) Skill</DIV> <DIV>3) Spell Quality</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>First off a stock berserker at 70 should be able to take down any green mob, especially groups on no arrows or ^/^^.  In my experience soloing the whites and yellows, especially ^^^ only comes after getting lots of good gear, its prolly not even worth trying blue ^^^ mobs till you have a good amount of legendary or fabled.  With full fabled and a few legendary pieces I can solo yellow ^^^ without a problem in most cases...this isn't said to brag it is said to point out that I could not do that at the begining of KoS when I had t6 stuff and no legendary/fabled T7.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Player skill and CA use plays a huge role in soloing.  If you take the wis AA line and have a hammer + sheild you can chain stun/knockdown your target like this: Bloodbath (2s) + Stunning Cry (3s) + Agonizzing Press (4s) + Belly Smash (2s) + Demolish (8s) for a total of19is seconds of stuns on the mob.  But what I have found is best is to hit two of those back to back, then hit the mob with our taunt which will interrupt them, let auto attack hit for a round or two, then repeat that sequence throwing in all our other CAs.  Often I start the fight off with that big stun combo then as demlish is wearing off I throw up Destruction + open wounds.  I find that I can usually last the 36s or so that open wounds is up and typically can kill all mobs green-high yellow this way.  Of course it doesnt hurt to buff up with Mayhem at the begining of the fight to help mitigate any shots that get through your stun sequence.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Spell quality is definately important because of the resistability increase as well as the damage, adept IIIs should allow most any zerker to be able to solo all greens and even some blues without any problem.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The type of mob you choose is very important as well, healer, mage, scout mobs are easy for us to take but brawler and warrior mobs can be a pain because we cannot mow through them as easily as we can with others.   Just keep at it and remember...honestly a huge portion of soloing is your gear so don't feel bad if you can't take blues and up, not too many can because of gear distribution.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Gorethok Jigglebelly</DIV> <DIV>70 Berserker of Crushbone</DIV> <DIV>Leader of Elysium</DIV>

<DIV>LOL, I was playing my zerker last night and was having a hard time soloing.  The mobs were normal but about 3 levels higher.  I tried 2x and was barely doing damage so I went to a lower level mob and had the same problem.  Turns out I either stuck the weapon in the bag or got disarmed which has never happened to me.  Sure this isn't your problem but if you are not wearing T6 armor, you might not be as high on Mit as you can be.  If you are wearing stuff from T4, it won't be effective.  I think normal gear is fine and you shouldn't have a hard time soloing. Look into some indium.</DIV>
