<DIV>Zerkers are not really known as a solo class. If you want to solo well go with a necro or a conjurer. That said I have solo'd my zerker at least 40% of the time up to level 70. With the right gear and tactics - as well as the occasional heal potion - you can do just fine. I don't know what the low end zerk is like now - but I try to find a place with grouped, arrow down, white or yellow mobs and then go to town. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The set up I used from about 30 - 50 was dualing polished granite tomahawk (procs a nice power boost as well as a ward) and the Mace of the Lifebringer (procs a 400+ heal). With those weapons, legendary crafted armor and upgraded skills I could solo where groups failed. Zerks seem pretty weak pre 30 however so I would try to find a good group of friends to fight with till then.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I could even solo a heroic group of 4-5 mobs with no up arrows. Couldnt do triple ups very fast... i stuck to the groups of 4-5 mobs it was faster. But i guess that was from 58-70. I dont remember ever soloing when I was young.. back then you HAD to group... solo xp was non existant and there were very very very very litle solo mobs untill they changed it when i was already 50. </P> <P>It's easier to solo now, since you get your AA skill that heals you. Its great =)</P>

<P>Well, for those of us who played back when...you couldn't be a zerker till after level 20 anyway, which was when you got the chance to pick your specific class. 1 - 20 was the same painful experience for most fighters. You are not going to solo 4&5 unlinked encounters at level 7 and survive. You couldn't then and you can't at level 7 today. Sure things get a LOT better when we get open wounds at level 58 - but comparing a 58 zerker to a pre level 30 zerker is like comparing a cat to a clam. Also, after KoS I noticed that the even con heroic groups I used to be able to solo had the tendency to hand me my [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] on a regular basis.</P> <P>Soloing stuff is challenging for a zerker in the early levels - same as it is for a guardian or any other fighter. If you want a really good solo class - it is conjurer or necro. If you can stick out the painful grind into the 40's as a zerker life really changes for the better. IMHO there is not much difference in the soloability of any of the fighter classes (with the exception that guardians REALLY stunk after LU 19 - but that appears fixed now). If you use the right tactics and gear you should be able to solo reasonably well with any fighter class.</P> <P>Zerks tend to do better against groups of mobs - so the best solo strat for zerks IMHO is to take down groups of weak or even mobs - whatever you can handle - in order to get the group exp bonus for the encounter.</P> <P>Whatever you chose, enjoy!</P>

With decent 1 hander and shield, I can go about 8 mobs in a row without having to back up and rest for 20 seconds. I imagine as I upgrade combat arts and gear, this will continue or get better. Groups of melees are the best IMHO, as there is no healing going on.</P> <P>My necromamncer solos more efficiently I guess, but my zerker does pretty well. ^^^ named heroics are tough, but I am still in the "under level 20" phase where the class hasn't been fleshed out to a particular strategy yet.<BR></P></BLOCKQUOTE>

<DIV>Zerkers solo just fine as long as you keep your gear and spells up. I've no problem soloing ^^^ heroic greens and even the occasional blue. Group mobs are easy as well. While you might not be as fast as a necro or conj, it's still not that hard if you put a little effort into it.</DIV>

<DIV>Its maybe to earlie to judge.. but i have tried Necro, conj, beserker, and palladin on the island... and beserker was the worst there to solo, but i caturlay would like to know this aswell... how are they compaired to palladin?... maybe they get better than palladin after the island?</DIV>

pally will be better off soloing than zerker, if not have a better chance of completing the encounter.<div></div>

<DIV>Waaaay too early to make a judgement on the Isle.  Assassins solo great on the Isle, so do Dirges. Later? While it's do-able... not so easy. Zerkers solo fine. They solo FASTER than a paladin and their survivability is good if you know your abilities. That's true with ANY class you play. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Zerkers may not solo as 'well' as a necro or conj, but they are perfectly viable for a solo class if that's what you want to do. Trust me, I've no problem soloing my zerker at all, and I've tried every class in the game PAST 20 except for Fury, Warden, and Coercer.</DIV>

Once you have Rampage, Open Wounds and Visions of Madness , soloing becomes a pleasure!! hehe. Nah, but I've been soloing for most time and im 66 now. Imho, berserkers can solo very well. It all depends on your strategy.

But its very dangerous since berserkers cannot heal themselves. Visions of Madness helps, and its important to deal all the DPS you can and interrupt the castings. With equipment  that procs is easier too (I use manacles of dark sky and Staff of the flapping wing and works very well).</DIV>
