View Full Version : Corpse Explosion Effect added to Jokernaut?

<DIV>One of the posts mentioned the possiblity that the Devs are considering adding an exploding corpse effect to our Jokernaut skill. Apparently if the beserker is killed while using jokernaut - there is a 2% chance of casting exploding corpse on the encounter that does in damage 3 x times the beserkers <STRONG>remaining</STRONG> hit points. This can't be right because if you are killed - by definition - you have no remaining hitpoints. As such this added proc would be totally useless...hmmm...sounds familiar.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Can anyone verify if this is the case?</DIV>

<P>I tried jokernaut again last night - felt like i needed to be punished =P Had a guardian in the group who just insisted on tanking. After I popped jokernaught I thought I was gonna be ok for a little DPS - but then I started peeling aggro and dropping like a stone. VoM went off when I died the first time and I popped back up only to be beat back to 0. Healer caught me just at 0 and managed to bring me back from unconsciousness - only to have me die again a few seconds later. Fun fun fun - managed to pull aggro and "die" 3 times within 24 seconds in one fight.</P> <P>I can verify that there is currently no corpse explosion effect added to jokernaut. I wonder how that would work with VoM?</P> <P>Peace</P> <P> </P>

<div></div>What they mean by this is I believe the corpse explosion is placed on the mob. (Like the Zerkers rage made the fallen corpse explode) This is why it would be such a low %, since your health can be high and make one hell of an explosion to the encounter. (Say you were at 5,000hp when the mob dies, meaning 15,000 damage to every mob in the encounter) 15,000 on %2 of kills may not be much, but it would make us the only fighters with a nuke. <span>:smileyhappy:</span> <div></div><p>Message Edited by Razan89 on <span class=date_text>05-02-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:34 PM</span>
