Newb question about race and defense.

Ok, question is do Kerra get the +5 defense racial trait?  Also if they don't would it really effect tanking at all. <div></div>

I cant say if the Kerra gets that stat but a + to defense adds to avoidance. So, that stat has a nice effect on your ability to be a good tank.
