lvl 60+ Armour + Weapons

<div></div>Ok, so I am lvl 63 now, and have been looking to upgrade my Cobalt armour and weapons for a couple levels now. However, I am not having much luck finding gear that has decent stats. What plate armour, DW weapons, 1 Hand weapon + shield would you recommend? I tank and DPS(because we are both, damnit!).<div></div>

<div>So far the best sheild i've found to use is Grizzfazzle's Sheild. It is a Tower sheild that is earned by doing a quest for an npc named (you guessed it) Grizzfazzle. Hes a gnome located around the edge of the Drednever crash site in the Bonemire, though the shield is not equipable until lvl 67. There is one other sheild that can be earned by doing a quest chain for the Hooluks in Barren sky, but I can't remember offhand what NPC starts it at the moment.</div><div> </div><div>As for other gear, at your level I would suggest going to Sanctum and killing as many named as you can. There is at least 1 named in just about every room, if not every single room, that can spawn off a PH or from a ring event, and from my time spent there its about a 50/50 shot the drop will be legendary. I've gotten the Empowered Scaleguard Greaves from deep in there, which are a bit better than Cobalt greaves imho, I've also recieved a VERY nice 2 hand sword from the triggerable ring event in the pit of the room just before the Exarchs retreat room, pretty good stats, 87 dps rating, and a 500 pt proc with a 5% chance of landing. Also, there is an awsome 1 hand sword that drops near the entrance, I think its in "the ready room" but I could be wrong on that, i've personally not won one, but even now it still makes me drool when I think about it, somewhere around a 67 dps rating on that one.</div><div> </div><div>If you're just grinding and hoping for loot drops I would suggest doing that zone, but if you're up for instances I would suggest doing the Nest at your level with a group of competent players.</div><div> </div><div>Other than that i'm sure others have some other places you can try, but those are the places I had the most luck in at your level.</div>

<div></div>So far the best non-fabled plate armor I have seen is the Awakened Scalelord stuff that drops from the named dragons in PoA, aside from Hoo'loh's helm (quested), the Curias of Protection (drops from last named in Blackscale Sepulcher), and the plate sabatons that drop from Solthis in HoF.  As far as jewlery goes I have gotten several nice pieces from T7 collection quests (the aviak feathers, basillisk spines, and planar orbs in particular) and there are some nice legendary rings called the light and dark Chitin rings that drop from the last named in the Den (the Devourer) which is also the last named you need for the Grizzfazzle sheild.  Another nice sheild you can get pretty easily is the Intangible Aegis of Bylze that is a reward from one of the early quests in the claymore series that leads to prismatics 3.  Oh yeah and I got a pretty nice 2H spear called Ishi-Kurrat's Sawtooth from one of the names in HoF.  I'm using the Drakeborn Bludgeoner as my 1H.<div></div><p>Message Edited by infernus006 on <span class="date_text">03-31-2006</span><span class="time_text">06:13 PM</span></p>

<div></div>Haste Gauntlets drops from the named in A Mark of Awakening Trial 1. There is also a nice looking 2hnd great sword which has haste on it from Kaltakana in HoF.
