<div></div>Hey guys, Im gonna give EQ2 a try since they opened PvP servers... I started off w/ a Berserker but lemme know if I'd be better off elsewhere.1) I want a dps melee char, similar to a light tank in DAOC or an arms/fury warr in WoW2) Don't care about tanking hits - just wanna do dmg.3) For a fighter, which will end up giving me greater dps - 2h or DW?What class should I roll <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div> </div>

<div></div>Nope... wrong class. For DPS in a fighter class, go with a monk or a bruiser. For true, real melee DPS, go with a scout class.

<div></div><div></div><div>As has been stated in every thread you have posted some version of this, if you want melee dps and not a tank please start at the "dps" classes first, and for non-casters that is scouts</div><div> </div><div>Straight up in your face melee dps: Swashbuckler or Brigand (slightly more positional) Assassins do more dps but almost all positional/stealth.</div><div>If you really want/need a fighter: Monk or Bruiser, both do less dps than above but can take (read avoid) more hits.</div><div> </div><div>No matter how many times you ask this question, you're gonna get the same answers.</div><p>Message Edited by dagoo7 on <span class="date_text">03-25-2006</span><span class="time_text">07:25 PM</span></p>
