<div></div><div></div>A change was made to this spell about a month ago. It was an out of encounter taunt, and was changed to a limit of 8 targets. Unfortunately, players and pets counted in that 8. The fix for this was put into the next live update, so we had to wait weeks.<p>Today was the day when the fix was to be put in. Now the spell is completely and totally broken. When standing alone next to a mob it will not even agro them when used. It hits 0 targets and taunts nothing.</p><p>Please fix this ASAP. <div></div><div>Good god your kidding me ... that explains that.</div><div> </div><div>Last night i was in the Sanctum and when tanking i was merely happy that it didnt agro the friggen Necro's pets but there were a few times i threw it up and was confused that it didnt turn the adds towards me but they continued on to the Mystic. I thought perhaps he was just throwing up alot of wards and debuffs but this explains alot. DAMNIT when are they going to friggen fix our taunt right!!! This is sad, we cant even use one of our best taunts.</div>

I just don't understand how they keep letting crap like this happen.  Why don't the test ANYTHING before putting it on live servers???  I mean jesus christ this is ridiculous.  We are paying for this game.  So they fixed it so it dosn't hit other players and their pets anymore by changing it so it doesn't hit ANYTHING.  Real Fing smart.  Get it together SOE!<div></div>

<div>Hmmm... good thing I am stuck in the arctic and can't log on ATM. I think this would be the last straw for me. I haven't been too impressed with any of the revisions that have made to my adventuring OR my crafting classes. Hopefully they get this fixed. I depend on it.</div>

As a test I stood in amongst a bunch of non-aggro gray mobs and casted this spell and it didn't do anything.  Being an out-of-encounter AOE taunt that's supposed to hit up to 8 mobs that are within a 15m radius of the caster at least 8 of those mobs should have aggroed me but not a one of them even flinched.  I have sent a petition about this and I expect a hotfix to be applied right away to correct this huge problem with one of our most important abilities.<div></div>

<div></div>No.... it procs when YOU are hit, like your taunting defense. IG initially bursts an out of encounter of 1000 hate for 15 meters, and then procs for hate when you are hit.

I tried it today on 8 different encounted and not ONCE did it proc on the mob as it was beating on me and without one taunt the healer got the mobs in less then 2 heals. So if in fact this is fixed i would like you then to tell me how and why you think so.</div>

After LU21 the initial AOE taunt did not work at all.  To test this I went into a patch of misc gray mobs in TT and casted the spell and I did not get any aggro.  That's how I knew it was broken for sure.  However the proc portian of the spell seemed to still work for me although others were saying that didn't work for them either.  Anyways, after days of screaming about it SOE finally fixes it and it does seem to work fine for me now.  As a test I went back to the same exact spot I was testing it before and this time I got at least 5 adds from casting the spell, which indicates that it is working.  And the hate proc portian of the spell still seems to be working fine for me as well as far as I can tell.  So as far as I am concerned it is fixed.<div></div>
