<div></div><div>In EQ1 haste was God. Melee in my guild, and lots of other guilds who I knew well, would balance their DKP aquisitions around certain haste items they wanted because it was just that important to us.</div><div> </div><div>I find that not to be the case so much amongst my peers in EQ2. From Sony's standpoint they really haven't populated the game equipement wise with near the variety of haste items they had in EQ1. Most of the haste items take up slots that can be better filled stat-wise with items that lack haste altogether and either provide some other beneficial effect or just have an overwhelming advantage in additional stats.</div><div> </div><div>I still wear a sub-par waist item, The sash of speed, to keep my 22% haste but am curious where a few of you find yourself opinion-wise on the issue.</div>

<div>I don't wear any haste items atm because the haste items I have seen thus far ingame have subpar stats. In most raid groups my haste will hit the max no problem between the zerk proc and other buffs. In groups when xp'ing I don't use haste items cause the FBSS is the 1 I have and there are much better stat belts out there.</div>

Haste, is nice its always good to carry haste items item around but with alot of buffs you can max haste without worn haste. Plus if you rememebr in EQ1 90% of bow and melee damage, barring rogues, came from autoattack. We could really only use 1 ability since they were all on the same timer. Autoattack does the majority of dmg but procs and CA's actually provide substantial dps in EQ2 so haste is less important.<div></div>
