Big problems holding agro yesterday

<div>Hi guys, simple question really - was anyone else finding it more or less impossible to hold agro yesterday?</div><div> </div><div>I know there'd been a few posts about our agro a couple of weeks back, but  i didn't notice anything wrong until yesterday.</div><div> </div><div>Yesterday i could not hold agro on anything for more than a few seconds.</div><div> </div><div>Went to Vaults and Halls of Fate and i might as well have been have been just auto attacking for all the good my taunts were doing.</div><div> </div><div>My zerker and my g/f's fury have leveled from 16 to 66 together and i can count the number of times i've lost agro to her on 1 hand. 3 of those times were last night!</div><div> </div><div>I have adept 3 or above in every skill, including master 2 on berate and even spamming all taunts and using insolent gibe even the two healers were occationally pulling agro off me on the mob i was targetting about 10 seconds into the fight.</div><div> </div><div>My taunts didn't seem to be being resisted so within 10 seconds of the fight starting (when i seemed to be loosing agro most often) i should easily have upwards of 4k agro (2xoutrage ad3 + berate M2 + IG Ad3 + brutal pledge Ad3), not including procs from IG and tauting defence - should take a healer all day to out agro that, not 10 seconds! </div><div> </div><div>The wizard in the group (who was definately targeting trough me) was pulling mobs in the encouter that i wasn't targetting with AOE's.  NEVER had that problem before - perhaps it's happened once or twice when someones hit a big aoe right at pull, but i really can't remember a time when i've <strong>consistently</strong> lost agro on encounter mobs to another players AOEs when using IG + group taunt + taunting defence + rampage + open wounds + all my aoes.</div><div> </div><div>Even tried switching to offensive stance to see if that was somehow the cause, but in the 3 fights before it got me killed it seemed to make no difference at all.</div><div> </div><div><div>So glad i was with my regular group, who agreed something was broken or there'd now be 5 players on my server that would never want me to tank for them again!  Was a very depressing experience to be completely inept at holding agro all evening.</div></div><div> </div><div>Not claming stealth nerf, but perhaps accidental agro breakage or bugs with these zones?</div><div> </div><div>Would prefer to think that I was just having a really really off day for some unknown reason, and everything wi'll be back to normal when I play later today, but thought i'd ask and if anyone else had the same trouble yesterday...</div><div> </div><div>Cheers</div>

<div></div><p>Ok, played for a couple of hours today (in different zones to yesterday) and i'm back to things being stuck to me like glue (hooray).</p><p>Still be intested to hear if people have had trouble in Halls and Valuts or if it was just me having a bad evening :smileytongue:</p>

<div></div><p>sounds like you had the allusive aggro bug.</p><p>this happens every once in awhile.  sometimes it works in reverse too, where someone in the party will be generating huge amounts of aggression (sucks when its the healer) if you find that its messing up like that, just relog, and come back.  it will be fixed.</p><p>I've been on raids where i'm MA instead of MT'ing and the MT gets this buff.  He'll pull with a taunt, and i click on the mob just to start my autoattack before i have anyone start to assist me, and the mob immediatly switches to me. </p><p>anyway, like i said, if it happens, log out and back in, you'll be all fixed.</p><p> </p><p>-Erick</p>

<div></div>I had the pleasure...err misfortune of playing with a level 70 Warlock guildie of mine in a group the other day.  He says to me that I hadn't played with him in over a week and since that time he had upgraded ALL of his spells to Master and that he now generates all kinds of hate.  Well needless to say, he was correct.  Granted I was only level 65 at the time and all my taunts are Adept 3's, but I think there was maybe 1 time when I was able to get aggro back once he stole it.  Oh well, looks like I just need to hit 70 quicker that I had thought :smileytongue:

<div></div>I personally only seem to lose aggro to other fighters.  I can keep it off the mages and scouts just fine mostly.  But when a bruiser or sometims even a guardian (!)  comes along, my taunts just seem to quit.  hmmm.

<div></div>Yeah I seem to have problems with Bruisers and Monks mostly, sure there are times when I may loose it to a wiz/warlock or scout class but can get it right back. Not the case with bruisers and monks. I have a heck of a time getting it back from them.

Remember, other fighters do not have any aggro debuffs like mages and scouts do.  I've always found it very difficult to keep aggro away from other Zerkers and Bruisers as well.<div></div>
