<div>4 into this rank says that I should have a passive 12% DPS.</div><div> </div><div>With no equipment on, I'm showing a 10% DPS listed on the persona window.</div><div> </div><div>Any thoughts?</div>

<div>I thought it was the wisdom line that offered the DPS, but maybe stamina does too.</div><div>First, where does it say you should have 12%?  Here in the forums, or actually in the game, when you mouse over the tree?  Because things have changed alot since the posts here on the forums.</div><div>If it is actually saying you should have 12% in game, and your persona window only says 10%, well maybe they changed it, but haven't changed the description, or maybe you have some kind of defensive buff up, that lowers your DPS by the 2%.</div><div>You do know that the middle 3 steps in Stamina all require a BUCKLER, right?  Therefore you would have to have a buckler equipped to get it.</div><div> </div>

<div></div><div>Not trying to derail, but how exactly does the game increase your DPS? Do we know? Does is just add the modifier to the base damage? Does the modifier affect CAs? Did the displayed DR for your weapons change when your DPS number went up?</div><div> </div><div>DPS is not a stat on any gear. It is a number determined over time by other numbers (haste, weapon DR, etc.) An ability that increase defense or parry - discrete values that are already base variables in the combat model - seems easier to actually modify from a game code perspective.</div>
