<div>I JUST DON'T GET IT?  The second spot in str. tree, you have to have an axe? why?I have to spend 4 points to get to third spot on tree which gives me nothing. It should be ALL weapons. If you feel the same way please keep posting. The dev's will listen if enough people want this changed.</div>

I don't use axes either but berserker class has always been related to axes so far, so I CAN live with it. But I really don't get the buckler thing for STA tree....<div></div>

<div>This won't be changed.  If you look throughout the other lines in your tree, you'll see that they also require a certain type of weapon, for 1 or 2 of the steps.  And it's the same for every other class.  I'm sure just about everyone is going up a line that requires a weapon that they either don't have, or don't want, so you're not lonely.</div>

<div></div>I found <a target="_blank" href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=achievements&message.id=388#M388">this </a>explanation pretty logical for the stamina AP and buckler requirement.<div></div>

<div></div><div></div><p>Hi fight--I got your point, however, that doesn't make it right. All the classes should be able to use all the items in the line they choose. I think I read we may be able to change our choices, which is a great idea.</p><p>This is way off the topic....I have allways felt we should not be tanks.Guards should be the meatshields.Zerks in my opinion, should have no taunts.WAIT dont beat me up!--hear me out.We should be damage dealers at the frount line of fight wearing heavy armor with special weapons.Helping tank stop mobs from getting to healers, mages and scouts.    OK got it off my chest. Does any one agree with me?</p><p>Message Edited by deathsangel44 on <span class="date_text">03-08-2006</span><span class="time_text">05:18 PM</span></p>

<div>oh god not this again.  when are people going to realize that sony developed this game to have 2 tank classes.  It's the way it has always been (with eq2), and more than likely, the way it always will be, and imo, the way it should be.  i don't think it really matters if there is 1 tank class or 5 (assuming they make all 5 pretty much equal in tanking ability).  what's the difference?  I like having an option.  Just like if you want to be a healer, you have options.  Just like if you want to be a caster you have options.  Just like if you want to go melee dps, you have options.  options are great.  there would be many more people here complaining if there were no options.</div>

<i>"Does any one agree with me?"</i>No, not really.  Zerkers are tanks.  If you don't like it then reroll.<div></div>

<div></div><p>I kind of have the feeling that this was put in game to try and help move some crafted items. When you look at the weapons required in a lot of these lines, they are the ones that are never used very much (i.e. Buckler, spear, hammer, axe). Also, Weaponsmith's have been getting the shaft for awhile because most people buy one weapon and stick with it. This forces you to buy 2.</p><p>that's my 2cp</p>

<div>to increase even more diversity, many ppl will have some/one or many diverse skill trees, along with that if you plan on being "married" to your skill tree you'll find a specific weapon to go along with you skill tree too.</div><div> </div><div>and yes i'm sure it was in there for crafting as well. as a woodworker i saw casters need a 2hander to use a skill tree(i have no idea whether or not this is going to be a good skill line, it's just for reference) my first thought was, wow i might actually sell a spellbinders staff for once in 15 months.(as opposed to quite literally a few hundred wands)</div>
