How do you switch your weapons?

Is there an easier way or macro to switch between shield/1h to 2h? Also was wondering if anyone could find the link that had the offensive/defensive stance toggle - I can't seem to find it<div></div>

<div></div>I have a hotbar with both weapon slots, all my weapons and my shield on it. Just drag them onto the hotbar like a spell. If you are dual wielding, click your 2H and you will swap. If you have your 2H, click your 1H and you will swap. wait 3 seconds and click the shield to auto-equip it. Easiest to start with DW or 1H+shield and then switch to 2H. Switching from 1H+shield to DW isn;t easy though. You will need to open your paperdoll to arm the offhand.

<div>I also Drag and Drop my weapons and Armor to the hotbar, I have a full hotbar just for armor and weapons</div><div>when i am DPS role i have different armor (some Leather, some T5 fabled, i go full STR)  when i  peel aggro from the MT i click the hot bars and put my armor/shield back on,  what i do first is go Def stance  then cast mitigation buff then click shield and click my first piece of cobalt shortly after that.  I know it sounds complicated but it works for me and i do good DPS and healers can keep me healed as im changeing armor.</div><div> </div><div> If i see the MT going down or healers are low on power i will start to change early.</div>

Yep hotbars are the way to go.I have 2 full hotbars solely with all my weapons i use, my sheild, my rings, my mirror/rug/mount and all my potions.  What a time saver that is.  Only problem i've noticed is to equip my dualies i have to first equip a 2h then the dualies otherwise it will only keep swapping out my primary.<div></div>

<div></div><div></div><p>The trick to go from 1H + shield is to right-click the shield and unequip it.  Then you can click both DW and they will go to both slots.</p><p>Your hotbar should have the 2 paperdoll slots (primary and secondary) and all the inventory slots containing the items you want to use.  Just open your inventory and drag the items to the hotbar.</p><p>Forgot to add info about stance toggle.  I just double click the stance I want to use.  The first click cancels the active stance and the second activates the stance you clicked.</p><p>Message Edited by c00nd0g on <span class="date_text">03-13-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:52 AM</span></p>
