<div></div>At the moment, I've not picked any of the AA options apart from the first point spent for Bind Wound.Looking through all the AA's, I think for me the best option will be the following:STR 4/4/8/0/0WIS 4/4/8/0/0INT 4/4/8/0/0This would give me a 22.4% greater chance to crit, a dps mod increase of 19.2% and a haste increase of 17.6%. The beauty of those choices is that they are all passive, are on all the time, and they don't require a buckler, spear, hammer, spoon, rubber chicken etc. After choosing those options I'm left with 1 AA to spare which I'm not sure what will be spent on. The problem for me is that none of the 5th options in any tree accept the STR one is appealing. I'm not a raid tank, though I do raid. Specking my toon to get more mit, more hate, more parry etc. for group encounters is a waste of AA's for non-MT tanks. So are options like the chance to do an aoe attack instead of a regular attack. Would look rather foolish busting all the mezzed mobs on a raid encounter cause I proc'd an aoe attack lol. So after alot of thought and discussion amongst other warriors, I think the options I plan to pick may work out the best. The 2nd options in the lines are kinda handy as well, but I really just consider them a bonus so I can get to the 3rd picks. The STR second choice, Executioner's Wrath looks neat, but it requires an axe so could be of limited use. The WIS second choice, Belly Smash is crap if you ask me. Since it can only be used when a mob has been smacked down, it'll only be affective against adds if they are not true epics. The INT second choice seems the best of the 2nd options. I'm imagine using that constantly. All up, I'm pretty happy now after looking at all the options carefully. I think picking the ones I have will give me the best and most rounded DPS increase which is what I'm looking at the AA's for. <div></div>

Hi Erick, i was referring to the 3rd abilities and not the 2nd. When I said they are all passive and don't require any special items equipped I'm referring to the 3rd choices in each line. The extra crit, extra dps and extra haste. Again, the 2nd abilities are not ones I will be using unless I actually do happen to have a spear, axe, hammer etc.<div></div>

<div>Seems like a good spec. The weapon specific skills arent that important and the final abilibites dont look that precious to me.</div><div> </div><div>This way you have a permanent increase in Haste and DPS and a well improved Crit chance.</div><div> </div><div>I might try this also.</div>

<div></div><div></div><div></div><div>This is exactly what I was gonna do, until I've seen how little the crit's help. I'd say about 95% of the time, when I crit, it's not more damage than what I could do normally, without the crit. So ya it might help a little, when it does happen, but it's just not much. I didn't like having a "chance" for the crit to happen, and if it does happen, there's an even smaller "chance" that it will be any more than what you could normally do! Too many "chances" for me. Having things like more haste and DPS will ALWAYS be there, 100% of the time (as long as you're not over the 100% cap - well I think this is cap anyway). So instead of the crits, I decided to go all the way down wisdom, for the removal of the penalties of the stances...again no "chances" there.</div><div>It seems that most of the groups I'm in, I get alot of haste buffs. Along with bersekers getting 2 haste buffs, I am over the 100% cap alot of the time, so more haste isn't much value to me.</div><div>Personally I like:</div><div>Wisdom....4/4/about 7/4/8</div><div>Agility........4/4/about 6/8 (these do include some "chances" of things, but imo, these are the best ones, and I have to put my points somewhere, lol)</div><div> </div><div>And these 2 lines seem to be the most popular amoung us.</div><div> </div><div>To the original poster, you said the last in the strength line looks appealing. Do you solo alot? I think that's the only time you may stay below 50% health long enough to get anything from the ability. In a raid, or occasionally in a full group, fighting the tougher mobs, my health will jump up and down, but never stay below 50% long enough to really make the ability work.</div><div> </div><div>Edit: Well after thinking about this some more...the crits probably isn't too bad, since a crit can happen on your auto attack weapon AND any of your CA's, whereas the DPS/Haste is ONLY on your auto attack. For this reason, I would bet that:</div><div>5% more DPS (autoattack) = 5% more haste (autoattack) = 5% chance to crit (autoattack AND CA's)</div><div>Probably not equal, but pretty close.</div><p>Message Edited by FightGame on <span class="date_text">03-06-2006</span><span class="time_text">03:55 PM</span></p>
<div></div><div></div><div>I always thought DPS worked on everything (including combat arts). Whereas haste is specific to auto-attack. Am I wrong? I don't know what its like for zerkers, but as a guardian my auto-attack damage is pitiful. If I never used a combat art, it would take 10 minutes to kill something. So I'm not too sure a 20% increase in haste is going to help more than removing penalties from stances. But maybe its different for zerkers.</div><div> </div><div>I'm thinking of going straight down the wis line at 4 / 4 / 8 / 8 / 8 and then the str 5 / 4 / 8 I'm not too sure how good the "sword only ability" works. It sounds pretty good, something like 120% haste for 1 minute. But I'm not sure if its worth losing a ton of mitigation and still having stance penalties.</div><p>Oh and by the way, in my opinion that AE autoattack ability is crap. I got 4 points into it, and was hardly doing anything AE-wise. Since autoattack damage is so low to begin with, and you have to be facing ALL the mobs to attack them (which is impossible since mobs tend to gather around all over you), it seems kind of pointless. I already respec'ed and put my points into the str line.</p><p>Message Edited by Xibitt on <span class="date_text">03-06-2006</span><span class="time_text">04:50 PM</span></p>

Like crap lol. I thought I had it all figured out, now I'm not so sure. I just seemed like the best all ruond thing to do as far as dps goes, for going with abilities that are passive.<div></div>
