Is the beserker the highest DPS out of the fighters?

<div></div>I'm new to EQ2 and EQ in general.  I am coming from DAoC through WoW and I was wondering what the highest DPS fighter class is.  I enjoyed playing the light tank classes in DAoC and I am looking for something similiar here.  I am looking for an offensive tank that will do well in group PVP on Venekor.   Would a beserker be the best fit for that role?Thanks for the help.<div></div>

WE ARE DA !!! [and in response to your question, yes they are highest dps unless u count a SK harm touch every 15 mins.]

AE yes, single target no, both monks and bruisers do more DPS. Tanking is about the same over all betwen them.<div></div>

Overall Bruisers do more dmg.  But give us a ton of mobs at once and the only class that has beaten me is a Conjuror and not by much.  Highest DPS for me on one fight 8 mobs in the encounter was 2100 dps.  Conj had 2300.  Bruiser was alot less.  However i'd say 7 times outta 10 a our brusiers have beaten me on a parse.<div></div>
