Just wondering, since I'm playing on a different server to my other toons - so no money/item transferral between toons. Also, I'm not really interested in tradeskilling with this particular toon, so I won't be earning money from that either. Will I be able to buy suitable gear for my beserker simply by playing through?<hr width="100%" size="2"><div></div>

<div>Although it would obviously help, you dont have to be rich to be successful.</div><div> </div><div>You can perfectly level up your Zerker, getting armor either from quests (specially at 20s), from selling items you encounter</div><div>on your journeys or even from drops. The money you get on adventuring and questing will surely help you out on buying items also and there's a lot of good equipment selling.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>I strongly advise you to spec on Harvesting though, you never know where a rare appears and can be a shortcut to that desired weapon/armor piece.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Unfortunately, you will also need a guild, specially at later levels if you're into raiding and getting rare loots, but this is a plague in every mmorpgs and to every class. Although soloing is possible, EQ2 focus heavily on grouping, specially at later levels.</div><div> </div>

<div></div>No you dont have to be..... though it certainly helps, my main recently hit 41 and I am having no trouble at all keeping up with equipment, I am part of a guild though not a hard core raiding guild. I have been in rare crafted imbued for 3 tiers. If you have any mmo experience you will know that the quickedst way to money is through other players. Some things that may not be worth anything to a vendor will generally worth alot to other players. For example tier 3, TS if you harvest while grouping and you hit a steel. If you dont need it, dont want it, or are upper 20s and know the next tier is on the horizon you can announce it and sel it in appropriate crafting trading and level channels. Even tier 3 rare metals will sell for ballpark 50g. Between harvest harvest harvest, and farming RE, RoV, and CT for masters you should be able to afford anything you want, even fabled weapons.
