sometimes when i got to cast belly smash it does not cast.................the recast does say 30 secs........is this a typo......this spell seems to only work when it wants to for me.anyone else having trouble with it?<div></div>

Don't forget that it only works if the mob has just been knocked down.<div></div>

Yeah that's right, it will still work no matter who knocks it down, as long as it is knocked down by someone then you can use it.<div></div>

<div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>And I don't usually use this immediately after knocking them down.  Do something else, then come back to this.  What I like to do is spread the knockdowns/stuns/interupts out, so that I get the most out of each.  For example, my slay master 2, interupts them for 7 seconds.  But if I shield bash them 1 second after I Slay them, then I'm wasting 6 seconds of them being interupted.  My normal line of attacks go something like this. </div><div>A heroic opportunity, which ends with a taunt that interupts them for a couple seconds.  Frenzy.  The AE knockdown which lasts for a couple seconds.  Any other CA that does NOT knockdown/stun/interupt.  Knockdown with shield that lasts for a couple seconds.  Any other CA that does NOT knockdown/stun/interupt.  Belly Smash knocks em down for a couple more seconds.  Any other CA that does NOT knockdown(etc).  Slay.  Go crazy with other CA's for 7 seconds.   In other words, take turns with the CA's that knock them down (etc).  Will also throw in the HO whenever I can, to keep aggro.</div><div>And immediately after each knockdown/interupt, I'll run behind the mob, for a couple reasons: </div><div>1.  Get a better attack from behind (not sure how much this matters to us)</div><div>2.  I'll get an extra second of not taking any damage from the mob on each knockdown(etc), because after they come out of the interupt/knockdown/stun, they have to turn around.</div><div>It's funny to watch this happen to.  I'm always busting up my guildies.  I knock it back one way, then the other, for most of the fight.  Treating him like a ping pong ball.</div><div>And of course when rampage or open wounds is up, I'll cast one of these just prior to pulling.</div><div>Or for that special occasion one or more of the 30 second buffs, just prior to pulling.</div><div>Seems to work for me.  Using a method like this, if the mob isn't resisting the knockdowns(etc), then I can keep them on their back or knees for a good portion of the fight.</div><div> </div><div>Of course this is just my method.  Many other methods will probably work as well.</div><p>Message Edited by FightGame on <span class="date_text">03-03-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:30 PM</span></p>

i'm really starting to rethink doing this whole line together.......i originally went this line because i want to attain the mitigation ranks it provides and i thought belly smash was a really nice sounding ability, but woe is me i overlooked the part about only being able to use it after a sucessfull knockdown.i'm a raider..........and i know im unable to knockdown a epic target to even make this abilty useable in raid situations.i due plan to attain all ranks of the agility line............any thoughts on a better combo to agi line for a raider besides the wisdom line or can anyone list ways that belly smash will be usefull on raids?<div></div>

i for one thought this skill was going to be junk(i too was just inching towards mitigation and final rank) then i tried it. I like it, first i thought i needed something that says hammer or maul, nope, can use an ironwood club no problem(will test out fb/cudgels next time) even whipped out sceptre rhaotep and that works too.I rarely use a shield but i figured i could just have a nice devastaing press/belly smash combo since they refresh at the same rate. (along with spreading out slay/slaughter/stun roar).it's pretty awesome while i was duo'in (along with what i thought was crappy bind wounds)just saying i thought bind wounds+belly smash would be put away for me... well scratch that notion.<div></div>

<div>I was able to cast this ability on moonchild, worked great, I dont know if the debuff works on moonchild though, would be nice, im on the second tier and its almost 900 debuff for physical attacks</div>

Personally I like this ability so much that I went ahead and spent some plat on a nice T7 legendary 1h mace just for it.  It's called the Drakeborn Bludgeoner.  No proc but nice stats and good damage.<div></div>
