<div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>OK, maybe someone that have tried these things can help me out.</div><div>I understand that there is a "max useable" amount on the attributes.  It is seven times your level, plus 20.  So for the examples below I'll use a level 60.  The max they can use for any attribute would be 440.  So, if my strength was 500, I guess only 440 of this can be used to calculate my damage output.  But, strength is also used for our power pool...so does our power pool continue to grow, if we are over 440?  Same question can be asked with stamina.  Since stamina gives us more health, can we continue to get more health, once we go over 440?  Even if it may be a lower amount than what each stamina point would normally give?  Example, I have found that each stamina point gave me about 5.2 health (when I was about level 60, don't know if that matters or not).  Maybe after we hit the 440 it scales it down, or does it remove it altogether?  And agility, etc?</div><div> </div><div>Reason I ask is, many times in my normal groups, I am waaay over on strength, and sometimes "max" on others. Maybe if I could trade out some points in one attribute for some in another, without losing anything else, it would be better...</div><div>Of course w/o a group I don't try to max any of them out, because I rarely play solo.  If I did, then it would not be any question, I would simply go for as much strength and stamina as possible, and probably never max both out.</div><div> </div><div>I've also heard other talking about a max useable on mitigation and resists...is there?  And what is the calculation?</div><p>Message Edited by FightGame on <span class="date_text">03-02-2006</span><span class="time_text">05:08 PM</span></p><p>Message Edited by FightGame on <span class="date_text">03-02-2006</span><span class="time_text">05:12 PM</span></p><p>Message Edited by FightGame on <span class="date_text">03-02-2006</span><span class="time_text">05:17 PM</span></p><p>Message Edited by FightGame on <span class="date_text">03-02-2006</span><span class="time_text">05:18 PM</span></p>

<div>Very interesting... I never even thought about maxing attributes.. boo on me.</div><div> </div><div>I'll usually have up around 550 - 600 strength in an average group, so I guess im also wondering if I should try to balance it out a bit if im not really helping myself..</div>

lvl 60 = 440 caplvl 70 = 510 capAt the moment all stats except STR are truely capped. Wether STR is broken or not, it'll continue to add benefits after the "stat-cap".If you want to test this. Break the your current stat cap (as the OP stated, Level x 7 + 20), then drop take off a peice of str gear, or drop the buff. As long as whatever you remove keeps you over the current stat cap.  You'll notice your power pool and attack rating go down.Currently the only thing affected by reaching the stat cap is your CA damage. They cease scaling once you pass that cap. But your power and attack rating (how easily you hit) will continue to increase.<div></div>

Strength is still beneficial after the cap.  It no longer increases melee combat art damage but still increases your autoattack damage.  AFAIK, stamina still increases health after the cap, as well as strength increasing power, but to a much lesser effect.Avoidance and resists are capped at 80% if I'm not mistaken.  However, that is against a mob that cons even.  You can still surpass the cap and it will help if you are fighting mobs that con higher.<div></div>
